@@kevincaywoodthey're ALL inspired tonight - but I've never heard the singers perform so well! Congratulations to The Human League - a truly exceptional band!
Phil’s voice still as smooth as a Cadburys Caramel 40+ years on - always loved these guys since being a kid, something about the lineup is just so right , met them in Sheffield in the mid 90s they are all really lovely friendly people too, Thankyou for the music 🎶
yeah they my fav *new romantic^ band i mean that *dare* album was amazin and to this day phils vocals at nearly 70 oh my days no auto tune etc plus a very down to earth band who never let fame get to thier heads👌
The 80’s were so creative with lovely melodies!!! I’m going down memory lane and thankful to have experienced this as a young person!!! Good music endures.
I love the Human League even at this age they still give a great performance. Phil Oakeys' voice is perfect. You know, when the two guys with their synthesisers during "Sound of the Crowd" come forward that they mean business.❤
Just watched this and whoosh it’s 42 years ago North Beach hotel Prestwick Friday night disco lol love action my fav track . my dad was right god bless him life is fleeting. Where have all the years gone
I was there, what a great festival. I’ve watched the human league many times in the UK and still perform every time.OMD we’re up there, great to see a band who literally live 3 miles from me playing in LA. Tears for fears stole the day for me, what a performance👏👏
Such a great group, so many good songs I’ve loved them since the early 80s congratulations to the videographer for filming this concert so well and congratulations to Human League for performing so well
Fantastic!! The great thing about Human League live is they perform their songs just like they sound on their albums. Watching this, I feel like I'm listening to Dare and Hysteria.
AMAZING! Incredible that 40+ years they are here touring, and sounding amazing. and Phil is looking mighty fine and aging so well, got a little crush on him
Dare was one of the best electronic albums of the 80`s and me and the wife saw Phill a few years ago in Tesco`s in Sheffield 😂, still a proud Yorkshireman.
It’s great to see them now. Phil Oakley sounds exactly the same and looks good too. I’m so pleased to see they haven’t fallen apart after so many years. An enjoyable show! Thanks! 😊
Simply brilliant. So professional. i feel very proud to have them as one of our greatest bands representing us here from the UK. if you ever visit London you should definitely check out Electric Dreams 80s club named after Phil Oakey's legendary song.
A lot of us were walking past them going from B-52s (awesome) to catch New Order (yawn) and stopped to sing Don’t You Want Me before continuing on. This was by far the highlight of my experience. I wish the set times were planned better so I could watch the full set.
Hi Vladimir!!! Thanks for posting your concert videos so I can relive such a great performance!! It was really fun meeting you last week and I'm still feeling a happy glow even now. You would have LOVED the OMD show on Sunday night. Hopefully you can come for a show when they tour N. America next year sometime. xo Laura
Thanks for posting!! They still sound absolutely amazing. And whoever is doing the video editing for their video wall…wow. Chef’s kiss. 😘 It’s perfect. I absolutely loved the Pacman visuals timed to the music. Genius.
The Voice of Buddha was actually called Being Boiled originally and was their first single released in 1978 on punk label Fast when Human League had members of Heaven 17
The songs have held up surprisingly well! They sound really good and modern. Not dated to my ears. Who will have won when the soldiers have gone? No one except the Arms dealers.
Saw them for the first time for their very short set at the Cruel World Festival (due to the show being stopped due to a possible thunderstorm - BOO!!!) and I wasn't able to make it to Darker Waves. Thank you so much for posting the full set!
