I seen Tom Cochrane & Red Rider open for John Mellencamp ,back in 2008 and he opened the show by playing side one of Neruda and he came close to stealing the show from John, but he played a good portion of his hits and early deep cuts! ❤️🎸😎👍
Late summer 1987 night driving home from Chicago after delivering a ton of tee shirts and hats to my friend who ran all the carnival units in the City. Ragtop down warm wind in my face, lights in houses along the freeway all lit up pocket full 😂of cash single and Free jammin' to this tune. Couldnt top that....then a white Porsche 911 blasts by me doing at least 100 mph.
Red Rider is not well know, but they have several great songs. Lunatic Fringe was the only one played on radio, but most people never heard of Red Rider.
Most underrated Canadian band ever.. if they were American they would all be millionaires.. love tom Cochrane.... I remember when he was living above a pizza shop near woodbine with kim Mitchell.. cheers
Some of the music that emanates from this man almost doesn't seem to fit his style ... but I'm so glad it emanated ... he seems more like the "life is a highway" type feller ... but when he gets serious ( like this song ) he knocks it out of the park !
