On June 14, 2024, Maynooth University hosted a unique one-day event, both in-person and online, that brought together law and policy-makers, industry leaders, service providers, practitioners, victims/survivors, activists, and academics. This event critically engaged with the challenges of human trafficking and modern slavery in Ireland and Europe, aiming to promote meaningful and lasting change as part of a broader multi-level and stakeholder response.
The event was a collaborative effort by the Maynooth University Social Sciences Institute (MUSSI), the Department of Applied Social Studies, the School of Law and Criminology, and the Research Centre in International Justice.
