I love how these geniuses come into a shatered system and they are clearly confusing the fleet with the guys who invaded and lead to this issue, and the guys are like, hmm, we the scientists will discover this and our historians will inform us of this invasion and our diplomats will plan the chat we we will have them. Maybe we will team up and play a game of rebellious territories for all the world for cheap capture. Then there is a portal and they are only worried about how they are doing it. Like, um who cracked the moon, why are the humans anoyed, does this mean they cracked the moon to fight the invaders? No, they screw around. I mean, they literally were sending scientists to find out, its what they wanted.

I can picture a Doomslayer Cult ending up in a Warhammer story. The Fortress becoming a Temple & only the most devout are allowed enter it to visit their God-King (our man Slayer gets elevated to that at some point). The Warships under his command would only do battle when necessary, such as in scenarios similar to this story.

@@arandomsystemglitch2398 Author here folks! This is set right after Doom Eternal's main campaign, but prior to The Ancient Gods. So he just got finished dealing with Hell, and watch over them as they rebuild. Then these guys show up. "Not on my watch!" is pretty much what ran through his head. People don't think about it often, but if Slayer landed in the 40K universe, is he would NOT ignore xenos in favor of demons. If he got close to a planet that had an Ork problem, but no demons, he'd still touch down and murder some greenskins. Ditto for tyranids. And necrons. Etc. Some races like Eldar and Tau he might hesitate with, as they're not AS big a threat as the rest.

@@SheosMan117he probably would go after the orks and tyranids and necrons and chaos... But not before cleansing the administratum, the inquisition, and the ecclesiarchy first. The high lords being second and the grey knights after that. He'd be backed by salamanders and space Pomeranians, but most of the emperor's angels would be removed and their gene seed destroyed. Doom guy is there to protect humanity, and got stationed on Mars for beating his CO to death for ordering him to kill civvies. So the imperium of man would be destroyed and remade as something tolerable to doom guy's eyes. No person in the imperium who shot civvies, even tau and eldar civvies, would live. He's not the type to allow any evil to escape.

One thing I'll admit to, as I listen? I realize a few things I could've/maybe should've done differently. Enough that if I ever have time, there might be some kind of "Author's Cut," where various scenes get changed up, (IE he'd use the equipment launcher, AKA the thing on his shoulder, on the Destiny's Embrace.) or etc.

I appreciate the extra voices, movement of pictures to illustrate explosions or outbursts of emotion. And the different pictures showing different events in the story. Adds a whole new dimension to this way of story telling. I’ve listened to a great many stories, all of which used the same robo voice and picture throughout the video. These seemed to be multiple people playing the roles. You have a sub. I hope future videos are as entertaining.

Somehow, our friend the Doomslayer finds himself in Nosgoth, where he encounters Kain the King of all Vampires. When Kain 1st lays eyes on him he is impressed, even if he does occasionally feel envious. KAIN: "I could have done with 1 like you among my lieutenants. That 'Elder God' is causing trouble for me again." SLAYER: "I find your ways disturbing. It took a great deal of restraint to keep myself from killing you too. These demons, Hylden you call them, they've been making trouble on my patch of the woods. I'll help you to get rid of them, but you must leave those I protect alone." KAIN: "DONE. We have a bargain." They shake hands & turn around to face a 2nd wave of attacking Hylden. They draw out their signature weapons & yell their respective battle cries: "RIP & TEAR TILL IT'S DONE!" "VAE VICTIS!" I've gotta say, I appreciate the use of different TTS for different characters, although that "Allo, Allo," Londoner TTS is pretty 'meh' (and if it's a real person, it's even more 'meh'). 😉
