Tubas should be around the band and be closer to the percussion. That would prevent most of the phasing.

HUMB had three major problems...song selection, not enough trumpets and they couldnt see the director. I can tell they didnt have much practice on the field. Basses sounded great, mellos OMG but all in all a good performance for the first outing. The other band gets a strong W

Not paying attention to the conductor killed HUMB. The song was nice too.... shame they messed it up. The way these all star bands set up, I'm shocked me don't hear phasing more often.

Man shout out to the home team of the "SIP". I'm so biased cause I'm from there bur put that to the side. Endurance, balance, sound quality, attentiveness and enthusiasm will get any band in Mississippi a "W" anytime. HUMB lacks alot of all those prior characteristics. O and uhh the FBI has launched an investigation to the whereabouts of the humb trumpet section........ #whereintheworld?
