I’ll say the song that seems to be breaking these bands JSU has played for me is “Sunglasses at Night”. Seems like no one has a great response to it and in my opinion that was the beginning of the end of the battle

I thoroughly enjoyed the Boom Box Classic as Im a huge fan I’m of both bands, but JSU blew SU out of the water. Da Boom sounded amazing!!! In my humble opinion Nate has always been biased against JSU and does not give them their full due…especially on the Keisha Cole song, JSU executed the song to near perfection and deserved a FIVE. This arrangement as with all of the rest blew my mind with all of the musicality that can be arranged in a song. While I enjoy Nate’s perspective on judging bands on RU-vid, I am so happy he isn’t an official judge (nothing personal). Again, I really enjoyed listening to both bands, but JSU put a good old fashioned butt whooping on SU! Luv Da Boom!!!

There were an array of scoring accommodations made for SU that were biasing generous... I have watched an array of footage from various commentators posting this battle, and giving their scoring... And all I see is just an entertainment factor within commentating, and not solid intelligence to knowing music qualities... The term "Shakey" was completely worn out here😂... It seems SU is automatically pre-stamped to be the best going into any battle... When they showcase horrible, excuses are automatically presented to help them as to control damage... Hell, I can't even get passed understanding all this broken grammar and horrible subject-verb agreement from the speech of the commentator...🤷‍♂️🤣
