It's ridiculous that all of these "schools in crisis" videos ALWAYS leave out one important concept of student discipline. Teachers don't care about spending 30 bucks on pencils or crayons. Every teacher that I know that left the profession did it because of bad student behavior caused by a lack of consequences for students. The student have no incentive to behave properly because they know that no punishment will be coming their way.
This is what older Black Women get for condoning all those out of wedlock births in the last 3 decades. B-More is much like most US "inner cities" no family structure, no tax base, very low standard, finger pointing, corruption, etc, etc, etc. FAMILY STRUCTURE IS the problem. Violence, crime, and tom foolery in the classroom are the results. checkout: TheRoShow
Everyone in the comments are hinting to the students and lack of discipline being the problem, when the whole clip literally only talks about being under funded. Not once did they mention behavior. Multiple times, teachers let it be know that they love the kids. Its crazy how you all minds assume things.
The truth can be brutal, you can’t mandate apathy, disinterest and willful ignorance. This educational system was crumbling back in the 1970’s, when the magic solution was “busing”. The kids who want to learn are suffering the most.
No mention of single parent household no mention that amount of funding per student in the US is only out paced by two other countries in the world. No mention of the culture this majority of black students come from due not empathize hard work and education
Good ridenence ,look at test scores. Fire Santalisa and English. English has been in her position for decades and only thing she's known for is her ego and wigs
Lol They can give whatever excuses they want. In the end, it all comes down to them being greedy and feeling entitled to more money, and having no clue how tough other jobs are.
