Hundreds of teenagers flooded into Downtown Chicago on Saturday night, smashing car windows, trying to get into Millennium Park, and prompting a major police response. A woman whose car was smashed by people jumping on the windshield said her husband was beaten as he sat in the driver's seat. Police were escorting tourists and others back to their cars in the Millennium Park garage. STORY: www.fox32chicago.com/news/hun...

🤨 💭 Hmmm, as West Indies, I’m extremely embarrassed🙈about Black culture, lifestyle, traditions, values in🇺🇸. I believe Black community don’t really have a formidable leader(besides athletes, entertainers, Reverend, or some other organization as BLM, etc…)who would improve the curriculum of certain public schools where majority students are predominantly Black. Plus, I’d have strict regulations about dressing codes, hair(no dreadlocks, braids by boys) 90% of those students don’t know how to determine basic math. How can anyone expect those students to attend university for(Engineering, Finance, Science majors, Nursing, etc…)? Blaming the parents is a valid point; however, we as a society must move beyond the blame game and actually hold these young people responsible for their own actions. It's not enough to just say "where are the parents". Arrest these punks and put them in jail for a few months. That way we can figure out who needs extended incarceration and who just got caught up in the moment.

65 % of Black families are single parent, schools are no longer allowed to discipline the children, single mothers are overwhelmed with all of the responsibilities of the family, and lack of organizational leadership by attending church and having a proper moral compass, all of these things combined are factors to this behavior! We need to have the National Guard destroy all exit and entry points to the city to make sure those criminals spread to the nearby regions. I hate to put it this way, but those people are only going to get worse, and they are going to create others like themselves. If any city needs a permanent quarantine and isolation from the rest of the state, it is Chitown. They won't be able to survive indefinitely without access to food and other resources, so it won't take long for them to fall. The earlier the city falls, the earlier it can be rebuilt with discipline and values. At this point, it is beyond saving.

I would say the blame lies with the liberalization of our justice system. Laws are in place and punishments are in place for those laws. However, the courts handing down lighter sentences and lawmakers/politicians passing new softer laws to protect said criminals are where the problem lies. Cops can put them in jail all day long, but they don't stay there.
