As a Student of both History and Anthropology, i had to Laugh when Orban called Hungarians Pure. 😂

I doubt that being "pure nazi" will hurt Orban in Hungary. Ironically, it would be the kiss of death in Germany.

It’s so odd that some people speak of pure blood when European and proto European history is quite mixed over tens of thousands of years. So there is no pure anything.

It's a little rich that a Hungarian PM is talking about non-europeans coming into Europe and "mixing" with the original inhabitants.

The people of many European countries would love to turn back the clock, it is a mess in Europe, but few dare to say it that way. Hungary wants to be spared that, about 8 million Hungarians think the same way, that's their right, it's their country.

Pretty funny that a Hungarian, of all people, is preaching about "ethnic and racial purity". I mean does he know nothing of the history and origins of Magyarország? Orban, Viktor was a victim of a poor translation. He was making a case for Europe for Europeans. He and his fellow Magyars are against Muslim/African migration for good cause as Hungary was subjugated by the Ottomans for 150 years! Most unpleasant time for the Magyars. I spent several TDY assignments there working with the Magyar military when the system changed and saw things with my own eyes. The Magyar people are tired of being told what they should think. Ottomans, Austrians, Germans, Russians, and now the EU/NATO trying to impose their will on the Magyars. NEM TOBB!

It's a pity that we don't have politicians of Orban's moral and intellectual stature in the UK and Western Europe. Orban is a true patriot.

I think the point being made is simple. Look at Western Europe and especially the United States and ask the question; do you really want to emulate that society? An amalgamation of ethnic groups from all over the world that rarely get along but live in the same country?

Orban said the concrete truth, that Muslims or Africans do not adopt Hungarian culture of living and wont mix in without distorting his countries culture. Need examples?- look at France's or London cities and surrounding Towns... local Brits are moving out to more rural, more British England. Yet Britain still the most favourit destination for all 3rd World migrants.

Culture is never idle, its always changing and evolving. That’s the beautiful part of human society. America and Canada in the 1800/1900s hated Irish, Ukrainian and Italian Immigrants and now look. The North American culture you see today is directly related to the pro-immigration policy’s that were in place at that time. As a Canadian I literally couldn’t imagine life without American style pizza 🍕 or the fact that the iconic New York accent and mannerisms are directly related to Italian immigration or how we wouldn’t have French fries without Irish people brining their Potato diet here. The Canadian prairies wouldn’t be the same without Ukrainian church’s and porgies! North American culture will continue to evolve with new immigration and so to should Hungarian culture.

I'm surprised that any of his supporters are upset by that speech. That is who Orban is. I am shocked that the EU hasn't moved to isolate Hungary for its overtly brown-shirt rhetoric and policies.
