yeah i love the current patch, but this patch has possibly the most amount of unique bugs i've seen in a patch? it's insane how literally every day give or take after patch launch, i've been discovering or have been hearing friends telling me of new bugs, or asking me "hey, this is happening, is it supposed to be happening?" and me going "i don't think so, i guess it's another new bug".
Any examples? Cuz all ive run into is the death cheat not being consumed and sometimes if i pick up a gun, it doesnt fire the first shot even if it has ammo. Itll click once first.
@@mikahoolwerff3563 i'm sleepy so i may not be able to remember most of them, i do recall a lot of them being UI bugs though, there were like 3~5 different ways the boss indicators could screw up, some of them being from wildcard games suddenly displaying a 2nd boss even though it should only have one (clientside as in it may not appear for everyone), i think the rotjaw one where once it's extracted the rotjaw indicator would appear/revert to as if it hasn't even been banished, to rotjaw having the big diamond similar to a normal bounty instead of the small diamond it should have. I've also heard from friends that even though they were in a team, one of them spawned on another spawnpoint on the other side of the map. I'm not sure if the spawn bug has occured before? I mean don't get me wrong, I still love this patch, been enjoying the fuck out of the rain and the drilling, as much as I enjoyed the wildfire map. but it's just wild to see how many of these seemingly minor bugs slipping past QA? and for new bugs like the spawnpoint one to suddenly surface even though there wasn't anything added/changed that I can see having anything to do with spawns? it's like they released a dev build to us in a rush. and i didn't play during the test server period, but did none of these bugs occur, or get reported to the devteam?
Hunt has felt really good during this event, and while I do enjoy a good snipe-battle from time to time, I think it is partially because the wildcard contract is night/rain. I've not been pestered by someone 200 meters away for a while. Long ammo isn't as over-represented as it usually is and instead you see a lot more variety. The rain/storm dynamic feels great. Reduced visibility & sound suppression makes the game feel a lot more tense, while also providing some sense of security when crossing the map. They really nailed it both visually and mechanically.
I made a big return to hunt after not playing for like 6 months right right before this event. I havent had this much fun playing in a long time and ive been grinding every chance i get. Love it and all the content being pumped out by you and others. Much love.
I just got Hunt recently after having it sit on my wishlist for years. It's such a cool game... I absolutely love the silent tension this game builds during fights like seen here in hornet's videos. Great gameplay btw, hornet!
this is the best pvp-pve game i've played i've been playing since the first few weeks of early access and damn, i still have not found a better game for me personally Hunt is just that Unique with it's atmosphere and gunplay, sound, world, everything Happy to see the game having 45k players online, when i was playing in EA it had like 1000-1500 players max online or so
I love how the rain intensisty lets up and goes harder during the match it changes the dynamic of fights mid fight and ive seen how tactics change real time between rain intensity it's so badass
I did not expect the game to be so successful. I did play at launch but had the 30 or 20 fps experience. They kept the game going despite the relatively low player count compared to other games and they exploded now. What a fareaking team.
Love how even when killed Hornet is like "I didn't hear no bell" that whole fight at Davant just showed how disgustingly good he is and he may be out manned but never out gunned
@@limonero8757 You get third-party'd less though. If there are 3 trios, your duo team, and maybe a solo, that is. Trios also tend to play louder, in my experience.
I love this game and I love the fact that they keep adding hybrid weapons to the game in an attempt to move away from the shotgun meta but if I get killed by another crown and king slugs again I'm going to lose it 😆
@@coolboy666fulhonestly there are people that are pissed at long ammo and snipers (sniping isn't as easy as it seems) and then there are people that are pissed about shotguns. In most cases if a shotgun pushes long ammo, they win. If a long ammo guy sees a shotgun 1st and hits the moving target, they win (or get lucky and have them stand still for more than a second) Metas to me are BS coz there are different metas for different groups of people. (Based off of personal experience/perceptions)
usually the map allows 90% cover from bounty to extract, but you legit cant play the game if shotgun players decide to not interact with you and camp the lair
@@coolboy666ful They're both the meta. You can run long ammo pistol + shotgun and now you're the king of sub 100m. Run long ammo and you're the king of the rest of the map. The problem is how this game handles stats/weapon balance like Call of Duty so the whole meta just because about powerful burst damage. Both weapons are also easier to use than other weapons because shotgun is easier to aim with since you only need a chest shot. Long ammo has so much velocity nowadays that you have to lead significantly less. Also if you miss the head and hit an arm or body they're still 1 tap now. The game has been becoming more and more unskilled as time goes by. So much spam, so much status effect, so much velocity, so much 1 tap .
I'll say this when u are using revolvers it reminds me of a metal gear solid character called revolver ocelot really cool character if I do says myself also others have steam notifications of some of his qoutes mabe try using em
Man the game is in a great state but for someone whose always been hovering between the 3-4 star range the game has been SUPER sweaty. More so than I can remember in the last two years. I’ve been running into smurfs like crazy and getting domed cross map by level 12 hunters with KD 3.7’s.
I agree hunt is more fun than ever, im just shy of 3000 hours and hunt is still my favorite shooter. HOWEVER all of my hours are on console and the experience over there has never been worse. especially for my friends on ps4. (Im on ps5) we literally have issues connecting to the server, spawning in deaf, and crashing after joining, sometimes before you can even move, 1 out of 3 games. Not to mention on ps4 it can take 5-10 minutes to reconnect, again, only to have it fail or you spawn in deaf 50% of the time.
No worries, at least for you, since you're on PS5 -- they stated in past dev streams that a huge next-gen update for you console players _will come,_ including DLSS, which is in development JUST because consoles really badly need it to get the performance on-par with PC. That'll take till Hunt's CryEngine gets re-integrated onto the latest stable release 5.11 from its aging legacy version 5.6, though! Hang in there, bröther ✊🤠
This new update really changed the game for me. I've never had so much fun and enjoyment in this game since the new update its insane. Have a nice weekend everyone!
Opposite for me. As a solo player every update since like 2021 has just made the game worse. I love now that I can get tagged to instantly have intense bleed or be on fire and now have to get zerged by 3 players that know I'm helpless. Love getting beetled for 25 dmg and poision/bleed and now have to hide otherwise every long ammo gun will one tap me. I love getting spammed by frag arrows that don't have any fuse sound or firebolts that insta set me on fire. The trade update was the biggest kick in the teeth as a solo.

2:40 Why did bleed damage stop during the vitality shot use? It should still continue to damage you until the heal is complete unless you use a first-aid kit. I just tested this in shooting range and my character continues to take damage while using a vitality shot. What's the secret?
sometimes automosin shots 4 bullets per burst instead of 3. Sometimes you flash someone and hear ugh sound, but no hitmarker(thats mean that he not flashed) and lost of other small bugs
Hello Hornet, I see you have an ultra PC, but I myself have i9 10900k + 3090 strix and i used to get 180fps all the time, but i stopped playing after last event when my frames got to 90-110, never going above 110, i dont know what to do, i tryed anything, do you know anything about this problem in the hunt comunity, and any fix?
The bullet/projectile straight-up instantly despawning whenever the corresponding shooting player dies was completely trash, too, though. So for me, reverting isn't an option. They should tweak the window.
@@DatsWhatHeSaid the amount of times ive killed someone heard the death scream and then heard there gunfire and kill me is laughable. it definitely needs some work however they manage to do it.
Im on the longest losing skid i've ever been. My kd is 1.22 and my friend's 1.60-70 ish. We get paired up with prestige 100 six stars all the time rocking kd's of 2+. Feel like this has been the case since the event
it actually makes me so sad to see people enjoying the game so much without issues... this last patch is making the South American server miserable, constant disconnects and high packet loss
anybody else know why these people leave Hornet on the ground without trapping or burning him? 90% of the time i am knocked as a solo I have 3 people breathing down my knocked hunters neck for around 5 minutes at a time.
I love the game and the gunplay but i hate having a good fight ruined by running into a building away from the original team just to see a new team three stack of crouch walking timmys with crown and kings staring at me.
I still can't have fun. I've been stuck at five star and desperately wanting to drop... I came back to hunt after 5 months and I just can't win any of these fights. I know it's a skill issue, I'm fully aware. I just can't play the game, honestly. These other prestige 100 5 star 3 stacks just play so perfectly. They know all the angles, how to rush, when to rush, have the best shit, always lvl 50 hunters because of death cheat. I wish the MMR system was better, too... I shouldn't see 6 stars in a 4.5 match mmr.
You're nuts. Gun can fire 2 rounds in half a second and have underbarrel slugs for basically a 3rd round in another second. Dum dums make the 2 tap range pretty good even for medium ammo. Gun can do everything lol

Idk, having played since “a bit after launch”, the game has lost its charm completely. Maybe it’s because none of my friends play anymore and playing solo/random is the most boring shit ever, but I rarely even boot up the game anymore. This with the increased monetisation, yeah sorry this isn’t it
The only thing that i hate with that update the rats are coming back to play again ....the enemy team play like 6 star and my teammates play like 2-3 stars , has no clue about the game ....
If they also add snow it will be epic right guys? And Inspect Wep button in Hunt like Tarkov, CS:GO, Modern warfare DMZ and others have. And in Tarkov it would be epic too snow and snow ghillie suits since it had rain and fog already. And nice skins like DeSalle silencer sparks if they add fancy classy skins in Tarkov would be nice too.
would probably play it more if the crosshair wasn't uncentered, if you couldn't hear feet outside from like 40 feet, and the movement wasn't so slow and clunky. bomb lance and mosin were cool though
Yes, It’s best update. Every day I been catching the bug with Easy AntiCheat, which doesn’t allow me to reconnect to the server. Solution: leave this game, lose your hunter and search for a new game.
I just wish weapons didn’t auto clean :( very strange that they decided to sneak in weapons auto cleaning on extract. Ruins the grittiness of guns that have been through thick and thin for you
I hate this update Doesnt feel like the game changed at all 3 weapons, 2 perks, rain, 1 boss. Few fixes they should have done years ago. And voila, call it 1.13 3/4 of the "content" is simply modifications from a damn config file for the different stats of the game. Only the rain is worthy of being called "content". Play normal matchmaking and tell you actually feel a difference from before 1.13 gameplay. There's none The event is the exact same to the previous one (not that it was bad, I'm just saying there's barely any differences)
