GBU will start guiding when mark is within 7km so you can drop earlier

I barely play top tier anymore, what I recognized is that the teams in top tier are often only small numbers, rarely full teams. But CAS, drones and OP RU made me quit top tier.

Hunter. With the F14B bringing Paveways to US to tier I was wondering, in your opinion what's better for CAS? TV guidance or Laser guidance?

For me, TV guided weapons will be more effective. Due to the russian's op SPAA and enhanced Tor-M1, there is no enough time to guide bombs by laser in most of the gameplays. The f14b probably not gonna be able to change the situation for CAS players. I know, it's sad

Put both F-16 and F-14B in the lineup, and choose relying on the situation .. if you feel there are so many SPAA then you need to use F-16, focus enemy spawn and drop GBU-8 on the enemy SPAA, F-14B still a needed plane in the U.S lineup, supersonic jet with thermal TGP and laser guided bombs is something nice.

I somehow got an Ace with the F4c in an uptier. The first kill was some mig21 climbing to 15km lol. I’m surprised 4 of my kills were with one of the worst missiles in the game and the other was some crazy mach1 closure gun kill

The slower the missile the weirder it is, the 530E can do some crazy shit in WT but in DCS it pulls way harder than the R-73. The AIM-7D is really weird but it can definitely fight when you’re going full offensive. The AIM-9E currently in the game has more flare resistance than any other missile atm.

Because you can press them once and they keep firing automatically, it can be helpful in some situations.

Something to mention about the thermal I find the white screen and black spots is clearer idk if others mess with it but I find it better and easier to see them
