As a hunter main I can say this, when you are trying to hit survivors, your hitbox is non-existent Then when trying to hit the rescuer when someone is on a chair, your hitbox becomes a kilometre long but it ends up hitting the chair instead of the rescuer
Played a match yesterday, was near chair but survivor was incoming, I faced away from the chair, tried to hit the survivor and it counted as hitting the chair, so. I agree. Lol
in one match i was playing with the bq and the chair was behind me i wanted to hit the rescuer but when i was going to hit the rescuer i hitted the chair and the chair was behind me and i got confused
I think it’s because of wu Chang’s faster movement speed so he closes the distance much faster, also feaster is much larger looking so it looks less unatiral
I feel like she’d probably have a more mystical attack like a portal or a long thin purplish special affect that looks a bit like a spear, but she wouldn’t actually be holding them
The only thing that keeps me sane while trying to kite geisha is "her godawful range can't ever terrorshock you" playing over and over again in my head
As a Mary main, this is true. Sometimes, when the rescuer is trying to untie the survivor on the chair instead of getting a terror shock I hit the chair instead. :,)

As a BQ main, I can confirm that her mirror hit box is bigger then her regular hit box ! I really don’t know by how much, but yes I’ve gotten more terror shocks with a mirror then I have with her normal attacks lol
In my opinion, I think dream witch has the worst hitbox. I play every female hunter including Violetta and although her hitbox isn’t long, I don’t get juked often. With dream witch her fast attack makes it hard to turn around and aim your attack so survivors can easily juke you, even when your using her charged attack. I assume they gave her a bad hitbox to make up for her being an S tier hunter. Edit: I also get juked less as geisha as well.
Joseph’s hitbox is honestly pretty good, it’s almost 180 or is 180 but slightly tilted to the left. His right hand side is weaker as you say in the video, He can hit through pallets though, and if you practice, there’s a way to walk through a pallet and hit someone who’s camping it. So he’s a lot better than Michiko or Mary in that department Joseph’s quite fast at vaulting, breaking pallets, and his attack animation so the short distance is made up for the fact he’s not too slow with his animations His chase is still weak because he lacks anything to really catch survivors or protect himself but his camping isnt terrible if you know how to infinite card trick and have max berserker
As a wu chang main, white's long charge ( with good timing and practice) is good for terror shock on window vaults. White's long attack allow about 180 degree-ish turn while black's long attack allow about 90 degree turn.
As a michiko main I have been juked several times but to keep them from continuing to do that to me I will use my long attack and spin her so I can hit the survivor trying to juke. It’s funny when they think they about to get lucky and juke a second or third time only to be met with a cold hard floor and a very angry michiko waiting to hug them hard and put them on a time out chair.
As a soul weaver kinda sad tho cause thats really true that her hitbox is short, i always rely on her webs i always get pallet stunned cause not gonna lie she is big XD but its fun playing soul weaver even tho she has the worst hitbox in hunters,her speed is incredible :^
The reason ember has a small hitbox is he is the basic hunter and due to wanting longer kites (flames) it complements that in my opinion as he needs so get close
*breaking* wheel's hitbox is I believe very similar to photoman's. He has a a decent range for both normal and charge, and a fairly wide attack range. Where his attack truly shines, similar to photoman, is the fact the he can turn while attacking and the hitbox lasts throughout almost the entire animation, meaning he can hit basically anything within his range.
I feel like this is missing some more parameters, like atk speed, atk recovery after a hit, atk recovery after a miss, and how long the atk lingers (which helps a lot with jukes and palete dropping)
As a soul weaver main, let me tell you, if you gets in her attack range then do not even try to juke; if the sw is fast enough she can do a full 360o hit. I tried.
Feaster's hitbox is huge, but being someone who mains him, it's held back by how it interacts with windows. I don't think I've ever gotten more than a couple of window terror shocks, even if the survivor should've been hit. He cannot hit people when they're vaulting on windows; it's REALLY weird. But his charged attack is so insanely long that it makes up for it ^^
What? I main feaster too and I can hit survivors when they vault windows, the problem is when they already landed on the floor and have broken windows but I still can hit them through the window xD
idk why but i got happy when my main got an S in both categories. i grew a big attachment to hastur when i started the game, so of course i started maining him.
As an aspiring Hell Ember main, I really hope they increase his hitbox just a little bit as well as width. But with the puppet's range, I think it makes it balanced if their range is terrible but I do hope they improve the AI just a little bit tho. Nevertheless, I understand that balancing him is a 50/50 since he can be too OP if he gets buffed too much even though it's just range. His map presence is definitely an A tier.
Same.. and everytime I play 1vs1 with my friend she bullies me bc she easily jukes my hitbox as violetta and when I try to hit through palletes I'll most likely get pallete stunned and miss, and I always complain about the hitbox but she thinks that I'm just complaining, I just sent her this video to prove that viokettas hitbox is shit af especially charged attack, once I was doing a charge attack in her and just bc she was a little left to me I somehow missed ;' she didnt even believe it either that I missed LMAO so yeah I mostly rely to my webs and hit :)
and something about joseph. for some reason his hitbox changes depending on what skin you wear for him. apparently its smaller if you wear moonlight gentleman.
As a half Geisha main, I can agree that she has the worst hit box ever. BUT WHEN YOU PLACE A SURVIVOR IN THE CHAIR, your hit box becomes White Wuchang's hit box and hit the chair instead of the rescuer
What’s interesting to note with dream witch hitbox is that it changes with different skins. I believ a full pickaxe hitbox is slightly bigger than a Serpent or Upright Judgement skin, though do take this with a grain of salt.
Another criteria to consider is how long the hitbox lasts, although I understand that this is hard to test. As an Axe Boy player, I can tell you that although his charged attack hitbox doesn’t give much range, it lasts a long time. You can use this to have an active hitbox as you move through a pallet
Notice: Luchino's normal attack has a lot of width, so it should be used when you come closer to your prey (when they are cornered, after the pallet or in a tight place). Charged attack hits survivors only when they are directly in front of him (its range is approximately 2-3 metres. It's very useful against transitions). Also, as its animation takes time, you can choose the direction of this attack, that helps when a survivor tries to tight kite you or to change their direction right before the attack. Yes, Lizard has a lot of limitations, but that only means, that we need to pay attention to every detail of his mechanics. (I am quite experienced at playing him).
i rlly like joseph and ann hitbox because to me they make the most sense for the animation, i do main sculptor though and her hitbox brings me pain…. its hard for me to hit while walking through pallets and even when im nowhere near chair i always end up hitting it xD

Hunter's weakness: -Attack range is wide (not good in narrow spaces) -Vaulting speed is abysmal (Easy for Survivor escape) -Hitting a Survivor has a long cooldown -Pallet destruction speed is also abysmal -Hitting objects frustrates the hunter and will throw a tantrum for a few moments -Hunters are way too cocky and can be easily frustrated -There's more survivor's than hunters
.. i didn't even know that there WAS a secondary attack by long-pressing :P I did do the tutorial attentively (i'm assuming that it was included in it) but then took several months off from actively playing. Is the only benefit of it on Hell Ember the longer range ?
With th eblack guard i usually like to hit with him more bc survs underestimate his 360º hit box if you move fast enough any juke its useless…and survs like to juke a lot
Hmm i think if dw will have an attack on her own it would be cool to use her claws and when she does her charge attack she’ll like elongate her body and charge forward
The hit box are so large that it depends on your kiting ability to be able to adjust to that. It’s even worrying when your ping skyrockets so high that you can’t kite at all.

Hello brother, I have a problem. Yesterday, I was installed identity V. but crashes on loading screen. This laptop has ryzen-5 10th gen processor & 8gb ddr4 ram and nvidia geforce 2gb graphics card. But it crashes in loading screen. :( but in my previous laptop which has core-i3 processor and in there identity v was running smoothly. why it is happening? please make a video about that.
Am I the only one who has had weird things happen with geishas hitbox? Like one time I was behind a wall and it somehow hit me even though she faced the other way. This has happened multiple times please send help
As someone who is (or was after the update) a Geisha main, her hitbox is so stupid. And doesn’t even makes sense why it’s so linear. She has a fucking fan! She should be able to hit sides at least to make up for her short range. Not to mention the new butterfly thing fucking ruined her.
I'm confused...her hitbox seems awesome here, but people are telling me that it's really shitty, so now I don't know of I should purchase her or not...maybe they nerfed her after this video ? I don't know, I only started playing this game two months ago.
Normal attacks: Most of the time, you'll want to charge your attacks to avoid getting juked around obstacles. First skill: Lunge at the survivor when they're running in a straight line, most usually when they're running to a window or pallet to vault it. Second skill: When a survivor is looping a small area, position and hold the slam until the damage threshold and release it to knock them upwards as well as to injure them. Most important tip: At the beginning of the game, use your lunges to get around the map faster. If you're using the talent "Tinnitus", you'll be able to pinpoint their locations and catch them by surprise. (P.S. I know it gets frustrating sometimes, not getting a very-deserved hit, but don't spam your lunge to try and get them, especially around obstacles. Sometimes walking is the best option.)
Me while using breaking wheel: I AM THE FASTEST, SO I SAY ADD MORE SPIKES! Me when a survivor makes a U-turn around a corner: nooo stop spinning wheel slow down
This is a fact: Most hunters with narrow hitboxes has skills that damages survivors. Luchino can jump Geisha can dash Bonbon have bombs Axe boy has a skill that helps damaging the survivors, and he also has a speed up skill. Violetta can speed up with her webs and slow down survivors by spitting at them
Wu Chang’s hitbox is broken, especially in the skin Frost, theres some vids where you can see how White guard wasn’t even close to the survivor yet he still got a hit/terror shock, that’s why I cry every time when I’m going agains him
