This is my favorite episode of Hunter x Hunter it’s so beautifully and masterfully well done

I believe early in the episodes when they explained more about Nen. WING said if your TEN is stronger and you able to contain it long enough your life energy won’t leak out as much and would slow down your aging

Nen has naturally anti aging properties. Remember when you guys made a skit about Nen properties? You even mentioned it there. Bisky's ability capitalizes on that aspect. Her ability is the thing that makes her look like a pre teen girl, but even at her "normal" bulky state, she's supposed to be borderline 60. But it appears as if she's mid 30 peak of strength.

I mentioned this at the beginning of the arc, but Imma say it again: at this point, just assume that the narrator is another character. An omniscient character who knows all the ins and out of this world and its beings. Having incessant narration is a double-edge sword imo. But, here it works.

Next couple of episodes are almost full narration. So you'll either love it or hate it. I personally love it

The madness is starting Edit: one thing that most people dont get the first time they are watching this, is that all those Netero's movements and his attack afterwards, were finished within 1/10 of a second (before Terpsichora launch an attack)

I must have seen this episode 20 times. From now on this is the pinnacle of the shonen history, nothing could even come close to this.

the chairman is Bisky's martial arts teacher, Bisky taught wing, and Wing is teaching Zushi and trained gon and killua. in a way, they're all fellow disciples of Netero. but Zeno also said that Netero was the only one to face his grandfather and lived. in the original anime, they showed Zeno's grandfather.

I dont care about anyone but this is the best Episode of the anime. Like this whole Episode is a masterpiece.

I've seen countless times that reactors who are not from East Asia got confused when the subtitles mention Lady Guanyin(观音/観音). She's one of the most revered and beloved Buddhist deity in East & Southeast Asia. Whether you're a Buddhist or not, the mere mentioning of her name brings forth an absolute solemnity and reverence in people's heart. Thus in the scene when the master of that dojo knelt before Netero in tears and trembling voice because he saw Netero as a reincarnation of Lady Guanyin, the emotional impact is MUCH bigger for viewers from Japan/China/Korea, etc. I just hope the subtitles can at least briefly explain who Guanyin is.

Neteros gratitude accompanied by the music and the profound moment of the martial arts master seeing everything he himself had been working toward perfected in Netero. He sees the beauty and dedication in Netero's technique and overs his school while asking to be a student. It's amazing. The music is gorgeous

HxH without the details and intricacies: a mere 7/10 With them: 10/10 When you say ''this is where it gets good'' you sadly didn't have any appreciation for all the build-up, thematic overlap, character development and in-depth story telling that has been going on since the start. Reactors like Normies, Blindwave and ImonSnow all seem to just want action. They think it isn't worth paying attention when anything, but action is going on. Normies for example didn't remember a thing about the Greed Island rules and hated that arc because they never were able to follow it. Been watching YaboyRoshi and that guy seemed to be into it and getting all the details since the beginning. Love how he's watching the show, he even thoroughly enjoyed the Greed Island arc. An arc that often gets shit, while it's still a pretty solid arc. That guy actually paid attention and liked it, crazy concept!

A bit of clarification: Netero isn’t stopping time. He’s just moving so fast that, I’m order for Pitou to perceive his movements, it’s as if the world around her is frozen. Any regular person wouldn’t even be able to do that, and they wouldn’t see him move at all. Netero ages slowly because, like they said near the beginning of the show, nen can do many things, like significantly slow the effects of aging.

Netero is a natural enhancher. And he is a great mastet of his craft. Enhancher type has the best point if its about streghtening their body, so its make so much sense if he could live more than 100 years.
