About clothes on chimera arc. In the manga we never saw how any of them except one were born. So it’s implied that they born naked. But anime didn’t care about that and mislead people

13:47 In the manga Gon and Killua spent month with Kite before they all learnt about Queen. Plus they travel much after that. The whole scene with mother is filler. So Queen had plenty of time. Unfortunately anime did many mistakes in the beginning of this arc with plot and timeline. And all of it because they wanted to expand it for some reason. Last few minutes of episode is just one annoying red flag. Original manga wasn’t like that

yeah, had the same thought. Maybe it's just because the later sections stay in my memory so much more vividly that I forgot that the story actually moves through the setup fairly quickly considering how much in-universe events actually happen in a pretty short span of episode count. It's great though, because as much as I like the setup, being able to get to the payoff quicker than I expected to definitely feels nice.

I mostly agree but I wish the narrator would keep the foreshadowing, especially in these very early episodes of the arc, to a minimum. :'D Shhhh, Narrator-san, don't ruin the "surprise"!
@@Jakokokorokounfortunately anime creators for some reason feel that narrator is necessary even when he has nothing to say. They should used him only when Togashi did it himself. But they choose to cut him in previous arcs(even though he was barely here) leaving anime original only monologue from him in the beginning and in the end of episodes which is often feels dumb
@@CrashNTheBoys2002 I'm honestly just talking about these ending lines from the narrator in these early CA arc episodes. I'm a simp for the Narrator in the invasion arc and will defend his role there in its entirety until my death.
@@knightcommander5694 I 100% agree with this. I overall really love the narrator, especially when he gives canon information that Togashi gave in infoboxes in the Manga but the ending lines he gets in the Anime are VERY hit or miss to me. It seems like the Anime creators tried to make the narrator sound like Togashi when he uses him but it just sounds redundant or pretentious instead.

Sometimes Narrator-san does miss 😔 Also last episodes made me appreciate the beginning of Chimera Ant arc much more, it's so good! I can't understand people who say it's boring
9:14 THIS is the moment when the horror truly started to set in, not suspense at the catastrophe growing out of sight nor terror at the sheer potential destruction of human lives... but HORROR at just what this line may be foreshadowing 💀 because we SAW normal chimera ants at the start of this arc, so we have a basis to contrast the size mutation of these new chimera ants as well as (and especially) the queen's form and apparent capacity to think in an intelligible language; now the idea that the queen herself has descended from human genes has as well been explicitly put into our minds... but that is not the extent of the horror, oh no NGL is the single worst country that these giant possibly human-fed chimeras could land - how can this be coincidence? the chimera ants feeding on humans and mutating is plausible, but it becomes less believable to think that chimera ants fed on humans, produced a queen larger than humans, THEN that queen somehow washed up out of the ocean onto the shores of NGL, where she could feast, nest, and become a humanity-ending level threat... and if not coincidence, then can it really be conspiracy? chimera ants are a quarantined species, remember, so normal people are not allowed near them... so HOW did the human genes enter the mix? WHY did the queen produced by human genes land in NGL where there is no way to warn the world at large?? and since there is way too many suspicious aspects for this to be random chance... WHO could have the ability to, would have the inclination to, and ultimately did make all this happen???? the chimera ant disaster is brewing behind the scenes... yet there may be something (or someone) infinitely worse lurking underneath all of this? yeah, now the horror wont leave my throat and it feels like i am suffocating and the arc? has only just begun 💀💀💀💀
About "this world" ("kono sekai" or "kono hoshi"), I believe that sort of phrasing is much more common in Japanese than in English (versus just "the world"). At least that has been my experience in anime.
ha! i kinda knew that last line from narrator might cause some friction for you. i kinda agree with your point but at the end of the day we dont if the line was changed during localisation or not. maybe the og line was more vague and subtle somehow.
34:06 I would say that the average person does not read so much into what's being said as you do and is not so deductively inclined ;)) ....heck, I even ask myself sometimes where's the fun for you in the unfolding of the story within any content.
I watched 79 videos on this RU-vid channel without being a subscriber. I like the content and you like Japanese audio+subtitles animes and have a playlist of Death Note and Chainsaw Man in original voices, what am i waiting to subscribe? I will correct that immediately. ;)
Yeah i dont like it when the narrator spoils either.😔 I feel like because hxh's targeted demographic is young boys (considering hxh's long expositions and lack of action scenes compared to others shonens, and also the fact that the chimera ant arc is an especially long arc), they feel like hinting at exciting outcomes will encourage viewers to keep watching more and also help draw in their audience better but instead it does the opposite and a lot of viewers hate the narration spoilers.
We all kinda expected it but I will speak it out again: he will not like the narrator. Filmbuch, I am sorry to say that but the narrator is a big part here and it only gets „worse“ regarding his involvement in everything
The narrator here and the narrator later on are functionally different. So he doesn't get "worse" based on what you're implying, just different. But I guess we'll have to wait and see
Narrator is brilliant. Narrator in this episode ain’t Togashi work. The way how Togashi uses him is different. Most likely you didn’t understand why is he was there

@@TheGJustas wrong. These episodes are dragged but not because of him. Look at all these recaps or how scenes going long WITHOUT him. About narrator himself, he doesn’t states obvious, he said things that a characters would say themselves anyway but he does this for them, so you wouldn’t hear each comment from dozens of characters. And sometimes he explains things that otherwise you wouldn’t understand. And I promise you. That’s exactly what would happened. I am tired of people that saying that narrator stating obvious but then still don’t understand some things. And stop giving yourself a like. It’s cringe
