I like how Knuckle literally just conjured up the IRS as his ability... *It follows you everywhere, it's impossible to get rid of, and it's relentless.*
Well definitely smarter than every bleach characters Spoiler alert In the manga someone lost because he literally explained his ability to the enemy which allowed the enemy to counter it
4:30 i love that one of the most destructive and powerful attacks in the whole series was used against some inmortal balloon who does taxes and it didnt do nothing to him
@@brian6441 they May Not use Nen. Like Killua was Morphing His Body before Nen was introduced. You can certainly do crazy shit even without nen. Also those niggas came from the Dark continent. No clue how the crossed the sea
Question: How would your Version of Hakoware be? I mean it's Countdown until an Effect, but Knuckle manipulating People into Zuetsu obviously doesnt mean it can only be that. I personally would either Manipulate the Target into using his Nen for me or take his Ability.
@@duvul1562 he should've maybe had a drain effect when he's extremely close at the cost of less max range for the increase to happen thus he could've a chance against strong enemies like that
So, nen persists after death, like a curse Which means that if someone was affected by this thing, and then Knuckle got killed somewhere, _they would never be able to remove it._ It wouldn't increase or anything, but it would float around them, watching them, forever. At least until they found a nen exorcist, but those are apparently exceedingly rare.
Actually post mortem nan is kind of unique for every case if knuckle died mid fight against someone he might end up cursing the person to always have none removable interest or he could change the intesrt into crazy damage it all depends on the case
worst is if knuckle died mid fight cute hakoware will not stay in exchange for the cat hakoware not just forcing in Zetsu state for 30days but eternal post mortem nen is something a nen exorcist was so scared off
Togashi was in his room thinking to himself, “how can I make an interesting and overpowered nen ability when there is giant golden buddhas, jupyters and suns being thrown around, and a guy who can eat a dude’s face and spits a portion of their skull and headshots another dude….. Ah yes… TAXES
Ok so the way this little guy works is this. The user Knuckle has a nen ability that allows Nen to be quantified and measured into a number. When he punches someone Hakaware is triggered. Chapter Seven Bankruptcy is it's name. When Hakaware (the little guy) appears it has a number on it. That number represents a loan in the form of Nen. When Knuckle hits a target he's essentially gifting you a portion of energy. This number accrues interest every thirty seconds. And the only way to make it go down is to hit knuckle back with the same amount of force the interest is equal to. However, the number will stop increasing once you go bankrupt. Meaning your own personal Nen number cannot payback the loan. Ex. Personal Nen is 500. Current interest is 550. When this happens you go bankrupt and Hakaware shuts you down. It'll weaken you to the point of taking you out of the fight entirely. And it cannot be destroyed. Even if Knuckle dies. This thing will keep following you.
@@mj4256 yeah, btw, Aura isn't everything, even if Pouf has 3 times more aura than Netero, his chance of winning against him on a 1 on 1 I'd very slim.
I love how Knuckle's interaction with the cheetah contrasts so much with Gon. With Gon, Knuckles explained every minute detail of how Hakoware works and how to beat it, but with the cheetah, he's just like, "Fuck if I know. Later."
He's nice to gon. I just realized how his niceness created an ability that doesn't mean to kill but to weaken his target. Hes one of the good dudes in the show definitely
@@chloeprice5418 Yeah for better or worse Knuckle is a hunter that doesn’t like to hurt other people. He’s extremely kind and is lowkey more of a shounen protagonist than Gon

Cheetu is probably one of the unluckiest Chimera Ants out there. He's so full of himself on his speed, yet Knuckles' ability can follow him no matter how fast he goes. Second, he gets owned by Morel not by speed but with his wits. Third, he gets killed by Killua's Father
Nah he deserved what he got. He's gifted with nen talent far beyond any pro hunter, and he wastes it by making arrows that travel slower than he does. He's incredibly stupid and arrogant. His death was satisfying.
I wish they showed if this would work on Youpi's Nen total at any point, on paper this is easily one of the most overpowered Hatsu strategically. You just need to stay away from the enemy's attacks long enough.
The problem is that you need to be relatively near in order for the interest to go up. When Knuckle retired Hakoware so that Youpi would spare Morel, Youpi was reaching the limit… so, quantified Youpi was more or less around 70,000 if I’m not mistaken. Meaning that Youpi was a few minutes near being bankrupt.
@@juandavidrestrepoduran6007 Youpi has over 330k Nen Units. Thats over 3x then Morel has who is regarded as one of the if not the Hunter with the highest Nen Capacity. The Abillity is actually horrible against other Nen Users. Knuckle needs to be in a 50 Meter radius to make the interest go up. Against strong opponents its useless and against weaker he doesnt need it. But its a perfect Hatsu to be a beast Hunter. While its in effect neither party takea Physical damage from the other so Knuckle can catch beasts without hurting them.
@@Y0G0FU This is correct; At the point when Knuckle released it, it was around 330000 nen units. We don't know exactly how long it would have taken but it was implied Youpi was close to bust. And that number is insanity. Even against someone like Morel who fought multiple Chimera squadron leaders (Leol and Cheetu) plus all 3 Royal guards in succession he is still dwarfed against that number. I do wonder then where about Razor and Zeno rank amongst those numbers as there are the 2 that's is by design in that top tier of nen capacity users.
@@Y0G0FU To be fair, just because this ability more or less was useless on Youpi doesn’t really mean much when the Royal Guards are infamous for having an insane amount of nen as a whole while being smart, fast, and strong enough to easily buy it back with little to no problems. There are “strong” opponents and there are the Royal Guards.
@@Tomohiko_JPN_1868 I feel like people are just slightly overestimating Hakoware, yes under the right conditions it’s an amazing utility tool. But in the middle of a fight knuckles doesn’t really have an actual hatsu.. he needs to stay out of the fight and let interest accumulate. But this is where personality problems come in, knuckles physically CANT leave his companions behind to fight his battles. It’s a contradiction, one that was on full display during his deal with Youpi

So this little guy (A.P.R) is like a seal. It can grow little by little either by time and/or when Knuckle hits you because since it's made of his nen, he can hit you to add more power to it or he can just dodge to let time do it's thing. Since it measured your nen and knows it's limit, Once A.P.R passes beyond your nen's limit, the seal is complete and it blocks your capability to use nen since the seal now overpowers you enough after it had it's fill with Knuckles nen. Knuckles could have made the little guy become a seal right away once he landed a punch. but without knowing his opponents limit it could zap away a huge portion of his nen leaving him feeling weak all of a sudden or possibly kill him if his opponents nen was way more than his since nen is tied to a person's life force. And if he opted for making A.P.R right away it may not be strong enough to hold back his opponents nen and that being could break away the seal by overpowering it. Not to mention that nen users can put restrictions on their abilities to make them even more stronger. Like a water hose pouring out water, put your thumb where the water comes out, pressure builds up, and the water comes out at a further distance. Surely Knuckles knew all he needed/wanted and with it, made the most invincible little guy that can annoy you adorably and make you powerless just to beat you up.
