Great spot! Great mix of nice fish. I have to get up there and try it some day. I was surprised to see how close it is to some spots I fished in Michigan years ago on Lake Charlevoix for smallmouth bass. Alyx, thanks for taking me on a great video fishing trip. Maybe your next trip could be Vancouver Island BC for some winter steelhead fishing on the Cowichan River! Best wishes for a new year!

Hi best of the season. Growing up close to Langford Lake BC we had access to the lake and started fishing in my friends boat that his Dad and himself built. A 10' Cramond double ended John boat. Well at first fishing for Sunfish but then caught a small Smallmouth. What is this anyways I have a 5lb. goal every year and have found the Royal Coachman Streamer with marabou wing surprisingly works best for me. Smallmouth are just so much fun. I mostly fish trout now and excell in still water's catching many in the 8 to 10 lb class now. The fly I use for trout is my own variation but can't give up the secret as it catches the biggest trout every year and wins Derby's which makes me good money. No it's not the long mint wooly bugger in the inset photo but that's a great fly. I would sell my trout fly but want crazy money for the recipe. It comes with instructions and is easily worth the price of $10,000 . Any what a great video tight lines
