6:34 OH MY GOSH!!! I have the original of this piece of art hanging in my living room (the boat scene with the one red backpack). It belonged to my father. He knew the artist. The artist’s name is Elton Bennett & he was from Hoquiam, Washington. He passed away in 1974. I have never, ever, seen another one, so my jaw literally dropped when you picked it up! How exciting!!

The statuette is a reproduction of Edgar Degas’s sculpture Little Fourteen-Year-Old Dancer (original model 1878-81, cast after 1921). I thought I heard you say "Rodin" which would not be the case.

Absolutely! I finally got to see the real one in NOLA last summer. Degas is one of my favorite artists because as a dancer, he was one of the first famous artists to really focus on ballet dance and the classroom.

My granddaddy was in a tuberculosis asylum and they made those popsicle boxes, I have his. Way cool. My favorite items are the cast iron bathroom door plates, I love the idea of your and Marie’s bathroom doors!

I am a studio potter and whatever you paid for that big platter was a good deal. It is so hard to throw a platter that large on the wheel and then have it come out of two firings with the glaze so good and no warping. I've been throwing on the week for 10 years and finally threw the biggest platter I've ever thrown and it's only 13" wide.

Right from the moment you entered that first amazing antiques store and all the way thru to the end of your haul share, I loved every single minute. Loved everything you found. Definitely keep the platter as it is so you... and unique large ones are very hard to find. Also the Murano is pretty special... I think that's a keeper too. Oh! Please keep showing your buying trips, you have the best markets and antique shops. I loved the little cabinet with the draws on two sides.... and the wooden sculpture of the boy with the metal hoop, I would have bought him for sure... but all your finds are keepers. You have such a good taste! The floral sconce at the end is lovely. I used to have some like that, also coming from Italy, I sold them for a very good price, it’s always good.
