Cool video! I l know exactly where that is!! Hwy 60 NM just east of Datil, 30-40 miles from where I live. Hardly a perfect shot though. How long you track that thing? Looks like sunrise at shot and sunset on approach.

I have a thing that looks like a small buck you attach to your bow to shoot through. Now I’m thinking New Medico because my public land archery in Oklahoma didn’t work out at all except for prairie rattlesnakes.

Randy, I'm from Oregon so always fighting the draw odds here for antelope. I just drew an archery tag for the last 2018 season so I now have at least 5-10 years to draw another depending on the draw odds and unit. I'm also a teacher so always fighting the beginning of school and going back to work the end of August. I'm curious on the season dates for archery antelope in Wyoming or New Mexico? I would prefer to hunt public land archery in either state. Your a guy that has hunted both states, what units are best odds of drawing but still seeing quality animals. What does it usually cost you to do an out of state antelope hunt?

Randy, you did a public land archery hunt that looked like an OTC tag but I can't find anything about that anywhere on the NM site. This was an episode on Sportsman Channel about 3-4 weeks ago. Do you have any more details? You did a spot and stalk, you missed under the buck because he was a good 15 yards further away than you estimated - you thought he was next to the doe but was actually well behind her.

Do you reenact the stalk to get those angles facing you? I noticed it switches from the your back view with no cameras around, to the front view with your face right in front of the camera?

Use a cow decoy when the antelope used to being around cattle. You can make your own or buy one. Both will work fine..
