If you want the same sound but older switches the huntsman v2 pro will work just fine. Also there's a new upgrade for the v3 for snap tap if you want an edge during games.
One more thing. Optimum channel did a actuation test on the razer huntsman mini and steel series apex. He concluded that the apex was better in terms of actuation and no dead zones. Do you think the huntsman v3 has that same dead zone problem with the rapid trigger? Awesome content btw!
He has another video on this against the wooting conclusion the ”reset length” for V3 pro is 0.08mm Againts the wooting which is 0.1mm Both at lowest minimum distance obviously.
frankly, I was between these keyboards and I went and used my preference in favour of steelseries apex pro, I have been using the product for about 6-7 months, I have not encountered any problems, and since this keyboard came out very early, it goes on sale very often and a nice discount time keyboard can be bought. huntsman v3 is unnecessarily expensive because it has just come out, and apex pro can do everything that razer has done in the same way, which is the main reason why I want to buy razer, especially in the huntsman series. "DISGRACE" in the RGB v2 v3 series, I'm not normally an RGB obsessed person, but I want a premium feel in a product that I pay so much money, so when you first look at the keyboard, the first thing that catches your eye is the RGB Quality, then the feeling of pressing / writing, build quality, etc. that razer disappointed me in this regard, especially in RGB.
I was torn between huntsman v2 and apex pro, then after I learned that huntsman v3 would be released, I decided to wait, maybe they improved themselves in RGB, which I thought that after watching all the reviews, I saw that they failed again in RGB. RGB Quality in the Huntsman Series is generally very bad, maybe PBT Keycaps may have an effect on this. Both SteelSeries and Razer recognize what Wooting is doing and they are doing it with their own formula and iterations. Only Logitech is blind to the competition and still throwing their outdated overpriced garbage into the market
I tried the Apex Pro TKL but I returned it because it made a buzzing noise, probably from the OLED screen. Not having rapid trigger on function keys was also annoying. I liked that I could use O-rings to improve the key bottoming sound and feel. I'll try out the Huntsman V3 Pro TKL once it becomes available from retailers in my country (for an easy and free return if I don't like it). I'd definitely get a Wooting if they had a TKL option.
I just watched your other video and you definitely read the market correctly. This is the comparison everyone wants. I was hoping you did this. We all know wooting is best for gaming but its so ugly.
Thanks for the video i have bought the Huntsman in the end very nice i have to get use to the keystrokes , because in a sense is very soft and the way a type i use too much force been used to logitech for many years ....but for gaming the difference is outstanding !!
Hmm I’d say the Razer feels a bit more snappy. But honestly the feel for both is pretty bad 😂 in that regard I believe (haven’t tried) Wooting is better. Or DrunkDeer A75 - that one is much better in terms of feel and sound than both Razer and SteelSeries.
That’s a very tough question. If you want to have super fine tuning then yes. If you just want to have rapid trigger and don’t care if it’s 0.1mm or 0.5 then no - get SteelSeries.

So Ive just checked it and you can set individual lighting effect to each key, you need Chroma add-in though. It integrates with synapse, so its not an issue. Just remember to you need to have the software runnig for the effect to take place. I just set my WSAD to be in red, and it works flawlessly :)
I purchased a new APEX PRO TKL. It is 2 weeks and now I face this strange issue. When I connect the Keyboard, it is randomnly typing on windows. On Windows, it open some apps randomnly. Even when I am not pressing any keys, it is randomnly typing something. The apps on windows gets closed and open randonmnly. It is doing something on its own. I have no idea what to do.... Whenever I connect the keyboard, it is not easy to control any keys as it start to type randomnly. I did Factory Reset and it did not help. I removed all keys manually and checked if something is stuck and did cleaning, but this also did not help. Anyone faced same issues? Any hints to solve this problem is helpful.
Thanks for your reply. I disabled the rapid trigger for all keys. And changed the actuation to 2. There were many profiles and I kept only 1 profile now. But there are 5 onboard profiles. I am not able to delete onboard profiles. But I can disable not needed profiles using the keyboard top right button. I was not sure what could be the problem. There is also high sensitivity settings which is showing high and can only be modified when use the rapid trigger. For now, it seems better but every few minutes, randomly something is clicked and some other windows pops up... It is still not proper solution. Also, if we can not use the rapid trigger and low actuation, then what is the point of using this keyboard. Please suggest what should be the right settings. Thanks a lot for your attention.
Bout have very nice switshes, but the rest not so much, bout is "flimsy" to light, no dampning foam, sounds bad ,not so good build qwality, and just cheap plastic.. i will wait i think on wooting 80HE zink aloy...
If I was choosing between SteelSeries and Razer I’d pick Razer. I had some minor issues with the SteelSeries at lowest sens. No complaints about Razer (so far). You should also consider Wooting if you don’t mind the compact form.
