Watch Hurricane Beryl live as it barrels towards the Cayman Islands as an Category 4 hurricane. Beryl is the first hurricane of the 2024 Atlantic season, it intensified to an dangerous Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph Sunday morning, its continued to hold its strengh after passing over the Windward Islands.
Beryl intensified to the earliest Category 5 storm recorded in the Atlantic overnight before weakening back to Category 4 on Tuesday. Ahead of Beryl’s arrival, Jamaica has been declared a disaster area and a curfew has been imposed on Wednesday.
