Something about missionaries fleeing ahead of a hurricane is just funny to me. The limits of their faith are clearly being tested here. Also, they're perfectly happy to come to a tropical island and preach their religion when things are good, but when they have an opportunity to actually help the people they claim to care so much about, they run away.

No. They would be a drain on limited resources if they stayed. Imagine, the housekeepers working at rhw hotel they are staying in having to go into work the day after they went through such devastation, maybe having just lost their home or a family member...but expected to show up to keep guests comfortable? No. As a resident of a tourist destination island, if you ever find yourself vacationing in the path of a hurricane...please board the next available flight!

My comment was about the missionaries (God believers) deciding to ditch their fellow island Christians in favour of safe harbour.

This is my mothers birth land Kingston, Jamaica I’ve lived in Florida for 4 decades, I’ve been apart of every category hurricane and lived through Cat 5 Hurricane Andrew This is no joke what Jamaica is about to go through It will become ground zero No power, food, shelter, and it will be very difficult to get help We are talking months and months of this Look out for children, animals, elderly, disabled, sick, in despair THIS IS A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND OUTDOORS HAVE FLASHLIGHTS AND BATTERIES WATER AND CANNED FOODS HAVE A LOADED WEAPON AND AMO (the looting will be out of control) DO NOT GO ANYWHERE AT NIGHT ⚔️🛡️☦️🤍☝🏾

@@Zenostrades I am 53 years old. I have been doing research on the existence of a God for many many many years. I stopped believing in any sort of God when I was about the age of 6 years old. Every since then I have been doing research because I have been interacting with all sorts of religious people. Most religious people that have I have interacted with throughout the years have all failed to present a properly sound, rationally sound, logically sound argument of any sort for the existence of a God.

Metaphysical, Quantum Physics, Mathematics, logics,Ethics..logical epistemology indicates the existence of God. There is no doubt, but it’s all based on the individual cognitive reality. I can’t give you arguments that you may already presuppose to not be true. It’s going to be on your own journey to have a logical justification on the atheistic reality, which to me is self contradictory and not stable belief system and anything that is contradictory is false in my view.
