Hurricane Harvey, August 24th to August 28, 2017, Chris Collura Full Archive Footage 

When Harvey made landfall, being inland but on the “dirty” side we expected damages………….we were one of the lucky ones. We never lost power and only a few rooms in our home got a few inches of water damage. The days after Harvey made landfall, the never ending rain, is what caused most damage to majority of the homes/buildings in the Houston and surrounding areas. I worked for a vet at the time, and I’ll never forget wading in thigh deep water to get to the clinic to check on the dogs and care for them. It was crazy, scary, and heartbreaking, a time I will never forget ❤

I live in Corpus Christi and Harvey's eye wall passed just to the north of us, we lost power early when the storm was barely coming on land

I've always tracked Harvey as it came closer to Texas, same followed for Irma when it struck Florida. 2017 was a blast of a year for hurricanes, especially when I had to evacuate for Irma, since I live on the coast, and near the GA/SC border.

Ever think of 4 coats of RainX on windows and lenses? Maybe secure a high power electric leaf blower toward your filming window to blow off excess rain ? Maybe a couple winches or lug- alls to attach a vehicle too if you scouted out a secure attachment ahead of time.. one front one back maybe a third to windwards and a badass bolt cutter in case you needed to be free asap. Not sure of an attachment maybe a fire hydrant or parked 18 wheelers .. dumpster full of sandbags? Cut some massive trees about 7 feet up and winch between the two stumps ...make 'em 3 feet diameter minimum. Use lexan glass we tried an axe and could not get thru it

IN love the guy that says they will kick you out of the hotel...in a hurricane. Yeah. No. I wouldn't go. Once things lightened up, then leave on my own.

Okay if that's Clement that man truly has balls of steel. There's no way you'd catch me out in winds like that. Like someone else said I wouldn't be worried about the vehicle flipping I'd be worried about taking debris through the windshield.
