You know what I really like about your videos, you don’t spend the first 15 minutes blabbering about you, your pet, etc., you just show us what is fascinating (and sad) to see in the aftermath of Ian- and the port/dock clean-up videos are very interesting. Thank you for real CONTENT and for this important insight into what our neighbors 2 hours south are living through. Nice job.
You have no idea how healing your vids are for me! Now I know the world is good again…Cabbage Key restaurant is open and more importantly, the tortoises survived!!😘
For ground zero for the storm, it all looks surprisingly good! Yes, the foliage is gone or brown, but that will come back. It is in very good shape compared with FMB.
GREAT Video.. We rented a house on Pine Island in St James City for years on the water with a boat lift till it sold. Boated those waters and Island's every day. Been to Cabbage Key many times. Glad to see it survived .. Thanks for sharing..
That would be great, I have a friend, ex-pilot for American Airlines who lives in the house just north and next to the airstrip in N. Captiva in the house with the reddish color roof. Hope his house is OK.
Wow I can't believe how good Cabbage Key looks! They definitely did some work out there. I thought for sure that place would be nearly wiped out. Is the water tower where you can go up the stairs still there! Thanks for the footage!
