Please pray for the people who live in mobile homes. I have friends who choose to ride it out at there park. They said all the neighbors made plans to help each out out. May the Lord Most High be with all of them.
Has anybody checked on the handicap and shut in people? They have no way of getting out or no way to buy food, water due to fixed income or the fact that they are alone. I am sure the electric company can give the state a list of people in oxygen and other medical devices. In storms like this, they are forgotten. Who will check on them or help them?
The same people that normally check on them and help. If they’re on a medical device I hope they would plan accordingly with a generator, battery pack, etc. How would the electric company know who’s on oxygen machines?
@@TobyCostaRica They have patients on oxygen machine and other devices complete a medical form and place it on file. This list is used in most states during these storms. Many of these people live on limited income and have no way of getting out without assistance. This is not automatic in any state. If you don't reach out for help, you get lost in the system.

@TheTruthSpeaker I went through a hurricane for two days by myself. Hurricane Sally So who's the Karen here, jerk. I'll even add, the same way when Cat 5 Hurricane Michael was headed this way. Everyone else took off without telling me anything, forgot about my existence, even family nearby. I also have family in the Tampa area. Talking about closest blood relatives. Alot more in the Tampa area.
I’m over on the east coast of Florida around St Augustine and I thought this whole times the hurricane was on our side. I’m surprised. Didn’t know it was this big.

It’s almost exactly like Charley. Rapidly intensified to cat 4 before landfall and hit Port Charlotte. I’m sure a lot of Port Charlotte residents are feeling the deja vu.
I was in central Sarasota for Charlie and we were expecting to get hit but nothing happened. Charlie was devastating because it was tight and compact. I believe it intensified as it was hitting as well.

Learn that if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. We have a lot of elderly in Florida and thousands upon thousands of New People that fled their States in the past 2 years, everyone could use some prayers or good vibes not your stupid comment. They're fine ,I'm in Tampa and the storm is now south far enough we'll get maybe tropical storm level winds and rain,which is just another thunderstorm to us

I been thru 3 major hurricanes down here in Florida and is funny how northdies are yelling that we should all evacuate or we are going to die. The day we go thru a real national emergency this very same people won’t make it .

If you live in Pinellas, then you’re lucky they’re not mentioning it because it looks like the hurricane moving further south; meaning Pinellas will most likely only get tropical storm level impact.
@@lockdown727 sustained 155mph with gusts of 175mph near the Eye. Only the places that touch the rim of the eye will see these winds… most areas will see anywhere between 100-130mph winds

It's going to rip everything apart in its path, Fort Meyers is 3 feet to 9 feet above sea level do the math with 155 mph winds that's total destruction. God help those people.
Not to make fun of those poor people down there, but I will never understand why people want to move there. Having to evacuate every year or two, and hoping when you get home you hope your home is still there. Hurricane insurance has to be expensive. But oh ya you can wear shorts and flip flops year round.
So California should be empty! Earthquakes, mudslides and poor forest management so wildfires. The plains, the Northeast all have Mother Nature’s wrath. Exactly where should we live safely? Just curious 🧐
