Attention..Please Share...Anybody with pets, please keep them inside and safe. If you leave, take them with you. If you see strays and are able, please have a heart and give them shelter. Help save those unable to save themselves. These poor furbabies don't deserve to die. Every life matters, every soul counts. God Bless!
Thank you. I'm in St. Petersburg FL and we already have Mandatory evacuation's for zones A, B, and C. I'm going to my daughter's house. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you
Just remember, just because the storm might weaken, doesn’t mean the storm surge will be less. A cat 5 hurricane will still have Cat 5 storm surge even if it’s a Cat 2 or 3 at landfall. Katrina was a Cat 3 at landfall.
@@greenbeans575 tornados will be wide spread especially on the dirty side. The whole state in the south east quadrant of the storm will be at higher risks. I live in central east FL. I'm not worried, I'm prepared.
@@rosemaryabbott1020 well yeah, Katrina was one of the worse hurricanes the mankind has seen , I think the government would be a little more worried about that one.
I am 71. If I had it to do over I would have studied the weather. The storms we have had over the years have been a learning experience. The earliest hurricane I remember is Camille in 1969. I was never in one and can't imagine what people are going through. I pray everyone will survive.
Dude you are on it ! Like I watched you the night of hurricane Helen till 3 am before it hit. There were soooo many tornado alarms you could barly talk but you were on top of it!!
Yes. I saw a huge pile of furniturevand other junk, today in Bradenton. Looked like a drop ff place for future pickup by the city. But it was in an open field and a huge amount.
There was a live by Gov DeSantis making a statement about this and wanting to open the landfills 24 hours a day. Being in Virginia, not sure what that means. I can only imagine if the debris is still see gets caught up with this.
I'm in North Ft Myers and the clean up crews came many times to clear all the debris after the last storm. They did a fabulous job for sure. Let's see what happens with this storm!! Gonna get interesting
Do anything you had planned to do in the next month now just in case. Get your emergency supplies now. Food, water, solar chargers, tarps, lumber, fuel etc. 2 weeks self sufficiency minimum. 4 preferred. If you don't need them this time you will be prepped for the next one. You can't rely on outside help.
I know this is going to sound redundant, but if anyone out there is trying to prepare for a potential disaster with no way to flush your toilets due to no water service, consider purchasing the generic brand of wipes at Walmart or any store. I say "generic" because it's not advisable to spend unnecessary money that you can spend on food. The price of toilet paper, at least here in Texas is insane, and I doubt anyone wants to have to fight over it. The wipes are "Equate Everyday Clean" wipes (in red and white packaging) and typically found in the department where cosmetics or body products are found, NOT where the toilet paper is. These wipes have dual purpose and are safe to use on your "unmentionables". There are 80 wipes to a single pack, and cost an average of $2. I'm sure perhaps a dollar more in Florida? Anyway it is a very good way to help in limited storage space. You can "bird bath" with these wipes as well. You would want to also purchase a generic cheap box of "sandwich bags" that just fold over and place wipes inside for containment, and place in a small receptable near your toilet for easy disposal. Keeping yourself as clean as possible with no water and good hygiene is a MUST in these situations as I am sure you all well know. I found it perplexing, that while the ports were shutting down and everyone in town was on the toilet paper isle, I was the ONLY person on the wipes isle. They are multipurposed, cheap, and can help keep you clean as well. Just a thought. I am praying for you all! 🙏
Camping toilets/Porta potti(s)/portable medical bedside toilets are also good things to invest in. Waste baggies like you might use while camping are a good thing to have too. Can easily be sealed away in ziplocks to help with any smell issue. Helps with those who have crap(pun intended) septic systems that fill with water and make flushing a normal toilet impossible.
Record warm water temperature in the Gulf. The low that moved across Mexico into the Gulf retained just a tiny bit of rotation. As soon as it got out over open warm water it started to develop. Now it is growing very rapidly... I watched the NOAA satellite images overnight real time and this storm doubled in diameter over a 6 hour period last night... Dangerous storm coming.
Mother nature must've found the last damn Florida Man bodycam footage she ever wanted to see. She's gettin rid of anyone and everyone rn. Much prayers to the tail of the USA!
I'm so grateful that you help us friend. When Helen was active, so where you and you helped me with all the tornados! My goodness you where saving lives my friend & you didn't even know it. 🙏🦋🌻🍄🤞
If anyone understands the geography of Tampa you know its a swamp that will flood on a rainy day. Tampa has been on borrowed time since it was built. This might be the end.
@@SamWilkinsonn Wetness is the interaction between a liquid and a solid In this case, water is not wet because it's the liquid that causes other things to get wet.
You can also see tons of rainfall well ahead of the Milton system. This means the soil in South Florida will already be saturated before Milton arrives with its own massive load of rain. Flooding everywhere.
I've scoped out other weather sites. They lose my attention and I stop watching halfway through. Too much over-explanation or repetition. Max never wastes my time; I can count on succinct information--and the most current. Thanks.
Milton is now expected to become a major hurricane, and its going to make landfall in Florida, and the threats are significant storm surge, flooding, major hurricane force winds, and tornadoes
Here in Ohio cool weather is setting in but my trees are telling me different leaves are being blown inside out or showing the back of the leaves and my joints headache I am a human barometer... So no I feel its going to affect us.❤❤❤
I’m in Orlando and for the first time find myself debating if I should leave or not. Waiting for another 24-48hrs to make the final decision. Thanks for keeping us updated and stay safe everyone 🙏
@@lucasbland7202 the only thing stopping me at this point which I’m sure you can relate is how many times do we hear “this is the big one” yet turns out to be just another rainy Tuesday lol Like I said I’m going to wait a lil longer just too see what happens and if I have to leave I’ll try to leave and if I can’t then I’ll have just hope for the best.
After 45 years of going through hurricanes I have an inner hurricane barometer 😂😂my prediction: it's going to land north of Tampa. We'll see what happens tho 😂 at any rate, I'm still checking in with Max
It is RU-vid, if you watch highlights of a NFL game, all the people in the comments are either scouts, coaches, potential players if they hadn’t blown out their knee, etc…some extremely smart prodigy’s in a RU-vid chat
Thank you for keeping us informed. We've been in the Tampa area less than a month and looking at our second hurricane. Please keep praying for the safety of everyone, including our beautiful aminals! Lord, please have mercy! Speak the name of Jesus!!! 🙏✝️💞
Anyone know anything about how cruises handle these storms? The 8,9,10,11 from St Thomas to Grand Turk then home 12,13,14 back to NY. IM FREAKING OUT. I’ve been on 1 cruise in my entire life and I’m so nervous for my kids out there seemingly in the middle of all this! Please pray for their safety also. 🙏🙏🙏🙏Thank you!!!♥️
This is like 2004. My friend was hit by two hurricanes in a few weeks in Port St Lucie. (Jeanne and Frances) They made landfall within a few miles of one another.
That's exactly what happened to me in 2004 and 2005 in the Panhandle in Pensacola when Ivan hit and then while still recovering Dennis hit and ripped our roof off after just replacing all the shingles... now I'm just south of Port St Lucie
I was on the fringe of those. Jeanne knocked one of our old oaks down and snatched our electrical service out of our attic with it. Had no power for 3 weeks.
Go with it. I told my husband last Monday I felt like something bad was coming. I'm in Asheville, NC. I was right. I had no idea it would be from a hurricane, though. They down played the hell of it here. I will be praying for ya'll.
Dont stay please go to shelter if your in the Tampa bay area, i think this could be very nasty....please go north of the carolinas even if you stay in a vehicle., or a t least central florida
Everyone please quit listening to the weaking narrative. Max is not whom I’m talking about but alot people saying o it’s gonna weaken to a cat 3 lol wtf
