When I see #HurtBae, I see a woman who is emotionally overdrawn. She's given way more than she's received. It makes you wonder-- how many of us enter relationships in emotional debt-- hoping that someone else will make a deposit? In this video I discuss creating intimacy in a way that doesn't leave you broken and bereft.

He broke that girl all the way down so badly she no longer had the self esteem or confidence to leave! Women don't realize the longer you stay with the dirty dog, the more damage that is being done to your spirit. You have to get out right away at the first sign of dishonesty. It doesn't help that he's an obvious narcissist anyway and she was probably always left feeling so confused and questioning herself. Smh I hate that guy.

A friend referred me to Ayesha's RU-vid channel just yesterday. I have been listening to her posts every opportunity I get, I resonate with what she's sharing and I love her energy, her in-depth information and knowledge. Today, suddenly I tune into this cast and the first comment I see is "RIP Ayesha" Oh Lord!💔💔💔 May her Soul Rest in Peace. I am so heartbroken 💔💔💔and so sad 😭😭😭😭

I don't buy into men telling me that I'm beautiful snd sexy. When he tels me that I usually roll my eyes or give a blank stare.or give a curt Thanks". When see/hear my reaction they ask why. I tell them they are not the first man to say that to me and it doesn't mean much when I know that my beauty or sexiness is not going to keep you in the relationship. That's why I dismiss those compliments.

I don't get is why he asks her why she didn't leave- when he was cheating her. It seems like a real cop out to ask someone why they didn't leave you. Her intuition was telling her that maybe he was doing the wrong thing by her- yet he has the audacity to ask her why she didn't act on her feelings? He is being weak and trying to shift accountability. Sorry, but his question is a continual form of abuse.
@mimilocke5650
@mimilocke5650 5 лет назад
Yep! Abusers always put blame on victims even society too
@11eve

No, it is not. He would respect her more if she left. Men's currency is respect. It is not love, emotions, and other things women would like to believe. If you don't have respect for yourself, he will not give it to you. So he was subconsciously pointing towards what was the major issue between them. He was a scum. But the weak one between them was her, for allowing to be treated that way and clinging on. These are all lessons to be learned.
@simonjerrems3738
@simonjerrems3738 3 года назад
@@11eve There's too many assumptions in your position. For example 'Men's currency is respect'...umm, sorry, I'd have to call bullshit on that. Respect isn't something that belongs solely to men, nor can it be assumed as being more their 'currency'. It's definitely a cop-out to say 'why did you take my disrespect, because if you had enough respect for yourself you would have left me?' If he had enough respect for her or himself, he would not have disrespected her in the first place. She didn't disrespect him for taking his shit. 'He was subconsciously pointing towards...' assumption, with not much basis but even if it did- it's irrelevant. A person's abuse/disrespect ISN'T the equivalent of the lack of self respect that a victim might have who takes that abuse. It's pretty rich for him (the abuser) to ask his victim 'oh but why didn't you just leave?'. It's not his place to ask that. You must be confused 'men's currency is respect'. Currency is how respectfully you treat others- period. When you abuse someone you don't get to say afterward- oh, 'but why did you take it, have some respect for yourself'- gross. Standing-by what I said here 2 years ago 100%.
@11eve
@11eve 3 года назад
@@simonjerrems3738 I agree with the part "A person's abuse/disrespect ISN'T the equivalent of the lack of self respect that a victim might have who takes that abuse", that is true the 1st time it happens. If the abuse continues and you allow it, it clearly shows that you have some wounds to work on in yourself, because you value the other person more, than your own integrity. It is not that complicated. It is why people allow to be mistreated by others... because they are hoping to get something. People like to hide behind BUTs, "but I LOVE you, why do you treat me this way". That is not love. That is neediness, lack of self love and lack of integrity. Just because I love you and want you to love me, you are surely not forced to be in love with me, right? So let's suppose you are immature and unable to kindly let me go, and instead you start using me and at the same time cheat on me, I think I should be aware enough to not cling on to you and realize, that this "LOVE" is onesided and I should have enough self respect to leave and not drag this out by going through your phone and spying on you, that makes all involved lose respect. As painful as it is to admit it, she should have left and he is honest in telling her, where she made the mistake.

"Vulnerability is walking in your truth the whole way." I love this statement. It's so true. Sometimes there's this fear that our truth is too much--that it won't be received well, or, like you said, we'll be rejected. But true vulnerability and freedom is being okay with speaking your truth aloud no matter who's there to listen and regardless of that person's response. Thank you, Ayesha.

It is truly a process. The best thing that I did in a relationship was start doing things that made me happy motivated and stimulated. Like got a new job, worked out and brought clothes went out. I made myself so busy with these things that once I did spend time with the person it made it easier not to want them and slip away. Trust me you’ll want him less and less and he’ll start to notice and get cold likely but keep on doing you until you’re done with him. I hope that helps!

I don't understand why she would want to still talk to that guy after that. When a guy breaks up with me, conversation ends that day. YOu will not get the emotionally benefit to talk to me afterwards. YOu only get to wonder what you missed out on.
@a.m.a4390
@a.m.a4390 5 лет назад
There could be multiple reasons why she still talked to him after the fact. I was like her because unfortunately I was raised by my family to be an absolute doormat. I couldn’t speak up for myself at all if I had a concern because I was told to shut up or ignored, had to constantly clean up after people like I was a maid, screamed at for no reason. In my opinion how your raised effects all areas of your life. If your parents raised you to stand up for yourself it will show when people try to take advantage of you. If they don’t however then your more likely to be a pushover and let people take advantage. There is a possibly that she could have been raised in a decent household, but looking at how he was talking to her I don’t think so.

He came across like an avoidant ( avoidant in emotional attachment theory is when a child have an emotionally cold mother the child did not bond with the mother because she was not emotionally present to the baby. ) And avoidantes dont bond emotionally. If a man refuses to have a deeper conversation chances are he is a player or an avoidant which allows him to be pathologically manipulative like a psychopath he is emotionally off disconnected and cold in human interactions. That perfect face black girl in the video looked so sad I just wanted to give her a hug.

Haven't checked in for a while. N also I closed my Instagram page I had you on n many others. I needed to hear this. Look even on a spiritual path you can loose yourself to a man n just hope he feels the same way you do. Am now in a situation where I fell for someone on the same religious path but after two months I see that I must pull away. He just revealed to me he has a wife n children. No wonder he avoided answering me early into the relationship. He also asked me much about myself n tried to guide me careerwise which could help his career. Hm. He behaved like a yes n no man. Confusing. Am slowly healing off him. I do get weak sometimes n tease him with sexy stuff but it has not worked. It is one of those love energy that suddenly sweeps you off your feet out of nowhere n throw you into blindness. So since it is long distance it makes life easier too. Hm. Thank you.🌹
