Honestly, he sounds like a jerk, but I have a feeling that there is much more to the story. Mainly because she only painted herself in a positive light as a caring, compassionate, and understanding mother and wife.... I find that the people who do this tend to burry the struggles they bring to the table, regardless of gender.

She said 20+ which meant she didn't remember the exact length or wanted to obscure the exact length to protect people viewing the relationship negatively. Marriage also doesn't happen immediately with most periods after proposal before marriage being 6 months to 1 year+. Minimum she was 19 but that is saying he proposed to her without dating her which wouldn't have happened so the true minimum is 18 years old when they first got romantic and him 25. Honestly, you can add another year because of the 20+ so she was more likely 17 than 18 or 19. Likely speaking, they had contact and were friends before this too so grooming.
