Ever since I was a boy I have loved the Siberian Husky. Even more so in his natural environment. Big hugs and scruffs to each and every one of them. Guessing the Rockies or New England? Skoal!

This past Wednesday I had to say goodbye to my 11 year old Husky Orion, who succumbed to cancer. He was a powerful spirit but gentle soul and an incredible friend. We rescued him as a 2-year-old from a small urban home that just wasn’t suitable for a wild, rambunctious boy that needed to be in the wild. I will always miss him but thank you for posting all of these videos to remind me of the wonderful nine years we had together. It just wasn’t long enough. Rest in Peace brother; until we meet again to roam through the quiet woods.

What a beautiful video this is.. I love to walk in fresh falling snow storm,it's definitely my favorite time of the year. I live in PA and we don't get much snow fall anymore like we did back in the dsy. Crisp air and quietness..

The John Muir quote was so wonderful !! This might be my fav video of all ! Those pups were smiling the entire time ! I also appreciate your notes about the breed .. too many people have Huskies that shouldn’t. People are drawn to the beauty of the breed.. but you need to honor them & understand what they need to thrive. Video was a great relaxer for me after an extremely stressful day. Thanks so much! Watching them calm everyone down after a hectic day. Love to watch these huskies' journey with peace and love from their dedicated owners and family. These huskies story seems luxurious to some others but the essence is truly dedicated love rather than the Benjamin. Their stories remind us how we should not give up treating our best friend dogs in a sincere and genuine way.

That place melts my heart. The tall trees covered in snow and hoar( is that the correct spelling) frost sparkling snow big slow flakes coming down..no wind. AMAZING.

They are special . I had two, when my tears ran down my face and although they are no longer physically. I always carry them in my heart and mind. I also take my German Shepherd who left me last year. I'll see them again when I cross the rainbow.

Always enjoyed taking my dogs on hikes in the snow ..... THEY LOVED IT !! I'd tackle them and throw snow balls at 'em. they'd chase me around and then we'd wrestle in the deep snow !! So much fun !!

This. I love this. As a husky owner myself, I find that too many people get a husky for aesthetics but never actually walk them properly. Please don’t get a husky and then neglect it’s needs. This is exactly the type of video that encapsulates huskies: walkies, snow, and loving owners :)

I feel sorry for Gohan being down there in Florida. I wonder if he has ever seen snow. The breed loves this kind of weather. My dog was born on Jan. 7, 2018. We had one day when we had a light dusting of snow after we got him so it will be fun when he experiences snow for the first time.

How did you train your huskies to be able to be off leash? And how long did it finally take for them to be as obedient as they are in the video? My husky has just turn one year old and her energy is definitely still there. She is overall good with training but she becomes very exited about the surrounding environment while hiking/walking.

I had a hard time walking my husky. He just wanted to pull. So I bought a long board skateboard and let him pull me. After a couple months of him pulling me he understood my commands and how important for both of us that he listen. Now unless we are around other people he is off his leash. He listens just as well and stays right with me.
