This video looks at a common chainsaw problem that I see on Husqvarna saws and that is an oil leak. I'll show you the steps to repair it and the best part is that its free! #smallenginerepair
It would be easy to make a judgement on your confusion, but if you've ever lost a pair of glasses while they are up on your head, you can't really judge.......
I'll try this fix. I have both a 435 and a 340 and I'll bet this super-glue trick will work on both. Anymore these little rubber fittings are soooo expensive...worth a try using this technique. I wonder why super-glue? Seems like it will not stick to the rubber. Maybe it acts as sort of a hard shim, thus making the rubber fitting fit better. Anyway, excellent video...thanks.
Yes its specifically made for clutch removal on this style clutch. They are sold all over the internet or from your local Husky dealer. There is only one version that looks like the one in the video so if it looks similar then its probably the one you need.
The pump cylinder may be the same depending on your model, but thats the only piece that even comes close. The pump piston isn't even the same between the 340 and 350.
@@TheGreasyShopRag I've replaced everything behind the plate,There's no real seal,or gasket between the Plate and Bar. I'm Guessing Maybe the Plate isn't sealing tight to the Bar..?? Theres oil on the Chain,But not like my husky 345. But it is runnng down the plate while running. So I'm losing Oil to the bar.I ordered a new Plate. Fingers are crossed.
If it was a snake, it would have bit you 😂 I have gotten in to the habit of taking the AF cover off, then putting the small bits in there, or using one of those free magnetic cups from HF. Either way, it's cut down on the time I spend looking for stuff right in front of my face 😉
I enjoy watching your videos, they’re educational, but I can’t get over the way you treat your customers chainsaws. You’re always slamming them down on the table. Why?
That bench is mounted at a single point where it can slide up and down with a winch. It bounces. The camera mic makes it sound way worse than it is. Just listen how much noise is made when I just roll a saw over. I would never do anything that I thought would wreck a customers saw and if you've been watching my videos then you probably have already seen that. Bottom line, it seemed like a unique dramatic way to start the videos and its not hurting anything. Thanks for watching!
