Don't forget to cut the divider in the intake boot so it gets fuel and oil in wide open throttle thay score on the intake not as fuel efficient but last much longer after porting
I cut that intake and I have the Majority of the fuel mixture going low… I cut it in a good bit and shape the top roof and sides towards the bottom… I went crazy and grown down a good bit out of those two mountains that are right in the middle of the transfer’s run… so it’s going to have lost a ton of volocity but it’s twice the volume so I’m hoping that it’s going to be a runner…. I have like 3-4 Xtorq saw’s and the 65 and they were just going to eventually go back to the 371 or a big bore saw??? So there 5/6 cylinder’s here and I figured that I’d give one a try… it’s something to play around with and see what happens… 😂👍
I see much difference between those other then a low top and high top… but aside from that baffling that they added onto the 365’s transfer covers inner surface…. They are as many of the same parts as possible… I like the low top and small filter is fine for me… I’m blasting the air after… all the time… if I’m starting my backpack I’m blasting out the saw’s through the bottom of the chip shoot … blowing your stumps toss them on top of the stump and you’ll get the most of it! I usta rub them down with the Mothers California Gold auto wax… clean…wax! Work! Once a month if you are a maintenance freak like me…. 12,500 limited coil…? It’s a cousin to the 441’s…. I just got one… someone wanted their 441 re-built then they changed their mind… and I’m glad because we are at the 372… ain’t a better saw then a good 371xp… 372’s… I like a single ring piston… but it’s just easy to work on and a tailgate will work… compared with tearing down a 441cm… anyway… I’m pretty simple so I like my saw’s that way too!
On the regular 365/372XP, the 365 has a 48mm bore, and the 372XP, a 50mm..I guess they decided when they designed the X-torq saws, they decided it would be more cost effective to just choke down or "de-tune" the 365 rather than cast a smaller cylinder and piston. Since they decided to discontinue the 365/372 in 2005 with the 570/575, and it was a disaster, I have a feeling the 365/372X-torq was designed rather hastily, and sharing parts probably also saved development time.
Thank you for sharing your experience with chainsaws, I am hooked, I even have helped friends with their saw’s because of you. I am working on a sp 125 mcculloch, can I buy a couple of gas bushings from you, if you sell them? I can’t get fuel line from leaking. Thanks
Dang Son! You putting on the saw college clinic with how you want to tune your saw if you own an Xtorq… running it up to hear the rev limit and then opening up your high jet until your retarding maximum speed and are just under your rev limit….

I have a holzfforma g372 it runs good but I built a iron hose pip but I want a 52 mm bb to put on it if I put it on with out porting it will it still make a good bit of power to pull a 32 inch bar with a semi chisel skip tooth chain I cut a lot of hardwood
I got great news bellhopper. The local newspaper wants to do an interview with me and I was wondering if it would be okay to mention the Bell Hopper yeah I got to get a few people's permission it's the industry in general that I want to promote it's all about safety it's all about knowing your equipment most of all it's all about knowing that everything will be okay.
