The 372 x torq caused me to look at different coils why mine was blue and my old ones were black (unlimited). By the time i realized what was going on i burnt 2 of them up by using 50:1 mix (pto side) and adjusting carb to perform like original 372. I have accepted the new changes and switched to 40:1 ratio. No problems since then. Also no more 372 x torq😁.
great job afleetcommand lots of good info well one of the good things iv learned is if i find a 2010 xtorq with a bad topend for cheap theres a good chance bottom end still good with steal cage Barings lol but awesome job explaining everything wonder if they stopped doing steal cage barings a certain on the regular 372 just looked the year on my 372 its a 2001 still going strong i did put a top end on it tho
I bought an 372 xp xtorq 2022 model, adjusted the carburetor, didn’t put an unlimited coil in it. It runs great, should I have any worries, or just run it.
My xtorque has mild woods port with muffler mod and it's done good so I'd say your good too but id still ask others to be safe. I'm not in a position to really give advice, just sharing how mine is
I love my light to I have dropped it like 6 feet on to the floor like 3 times finely broke it plastic welded it back together and it's been working for a year my wife had to have one for Christmas for her sewing I have a 2014 372 xtork with steel cage bearing because I put them in there and you gave me the kind to buy and the numbers and it still running fantastic however I have so many saws I can't put much time on any one saw I have a neo-tec 660 update coming soon
I have a Makita angle head flashlight, that I put a led bulb in that I use like that Bauer you have, for those that still have them it’s worth finding a led bulb.
Nwp coil I’ve used have served me well for a year now. I’ve used several being the black OEM coil is so hard to find and there price. Wolf creek is where I got them from also there crank is pretty good for aftermarket
I would guess that is one of jim's saws, he is one of the only ones i know who does horse logging. He brought it to the right man to have it gone through.
