love my 580bts, and you are right, it loves its fuel. the model i bought has the waist belt and a belt across the chest. really helps with handling the weight

I also have the 8010. Couldn't agree more about the tube. Big power, but the tube wears you out in leaf season. Damn thing runs flawlessly though, so I've been too cheap to get something different. The handy guy said on his channel that he got rid of his 580 and runs the 570s. Said negligible difference in power and lighter

When the piles start getting big and slow, that's when I tarp them and move them. Always faster than trying to push big piles with a blower, and I contend it's faster and cleaner than pushing them with a leaf plow. That's nice you got a complimentary blower and trimmer for attending that event.

Still have my husky I bought 11 yrs ago for home use, starts 2nd pull every time.

I have had my 580BTS for over 10 years now. It is one bad-ss piece of equipment. I run Husqvarna’s canned Pre-Mix fuel (non-ethanol/stabilized/95 Octane) exclusively in my blower and it starts up on the first or second pull (with full choke on) even after sitting for over 6 months. I do run the tank dry after each use, but the Husqvarna fuel is amazing, and the only thing I have had to do in 10 years is change the air filter and fill-er-up.

Late to chime in but I have owned my 580 for about 8-9 years, and a lot of time in storage without any storage prep, other than using ethanol free premixed in tank. When I finally took out of storage a couple of years ago it started right up, ran a little rough and needed choke longer, but it never stopped running or had problems starting. Now that my county is about to ban gas blowers in 2024 makes me want to go pick up a backup 580 plus a smaller gas handheld. I do have Ego and lots of batteries but it just doesn’t run as long or strong as gassers.

I just got one. I cant wait to try it out. I know the echo has a higher CFM but not to different. But i went with husqvarna because i use echo Trimmers.

Looking good. Huge husky fan. Have the 580bts 7 years still running.. I want the mark 3. Was thinking about the echo 9010. . Tested them at the gie.

I've never used any Husqvarna equipment. That looks like it worked well. I've had the Ferris blower out the last week.

I'm looking for something to replace my echo 8010. Simply because the 8010 has a big bulky tube that can be cumbersome after using it all day. It wears down your arm and shoulder. This might be a good option, unfortunately everyone by me is sold out. Great video man. Keep them coming.

I'm on the fence between this husqvarna 580bts mark lll and redmax 8560rh blower. I only run redmax equipment, I'm digging the chest and waist strap on the husky. Both are friggin beastie machines and cost 640-650ish.(just deciding on orange or red colorway)take care brotha man salute.

I’ve had the 580 husqvarna, all 4 years it did great. After owning the stihl 800, I don’t think I could go back to the husky.

So I gather about equal in power to the Echo but more comfy...sounds like a good choice for the pros.

Sure would be convenient if it could be started from the front while wearing it. Mine goes about an hour and a half at full on power per tank of fuel.

Stat wise the echo 9010 still takes the lead as the king of backpack blowers but the new redmax/husqvarna are not far behind from the looks of it.

I would say by the looks echo 9010 got a bigger punch
