Our Husqvarna 701 being put through its paces on our dyno!!
This is how we developed our ECU remapping strategy for the Husqvarna 701. Throughout the video you will be able to see the different stages of the process. It starts with the stock bike with all its factory hardware. Many runs were done to gather all the data we needed. We gathered data at every throttle opening. From this, our in-house map writers get to work developing a custom remap for the bike to vastly improve the smoothness and throttle response and to perfect the fuelling.
As soon as you fit an aftermarket exhaust and intake it changes the whole dynamic. Now we start again! We do a set of base runs with the factory map and hardware upgrades to see exactly how much the bike is affected. Once all this data is acquired we set about writing a new file to accommodate the hardware modifications.
With these hardware mods and our custom remap written in house you can see for yourself from the graphs, the HUGE improvements that were made. With a +10bhp gain and an absolute transformation in the power delivery, you will be tearing up the back roads in no time, it's probably best to invest in some new tyres now that you will be shredding them every weekend!
