I wish someone in the U.S. would fab up exact copies of OEM full wrap handles for older saws, 272, 038 mag, stihl 066, jreds, etc. A full wrap for a ms261, or 550 mark II would be really nice too.
If I had a shop I would make copies lol from a business standpoint, if I knew there was half way decent money/profit to be made I would take the chance and start a business doin that, I got a few saws I wanna wrap bars for and plan on buying more saws that I'd like to have wraps for but that's far in the future hope you find a something that works
I don't have a full wrap on any of my saws. I always thought it would just get in the way and I've never had the need for one. Oh well to each their own, I say. There is no right or wrong as long as your saw is in the wood. Fantastic modification to your saw Tinman TC Mahalo 🤙🤙🤙
Hey buddy awsome video that johny red is a thing of beauty I had the same problem with one of my saws when I put a long bar on it it would nose dive on a table it drove me nuts so what I did was put taller dogs on and the bottom of the dog would come in contact with table before it would nose dive worked like a kick stand dosen't tip forward when u set it down any more just a sagestion. I love ur videos and have learned so mutch from u its silly keep on keeping on brother
Hey tinman I just wanted to thank you for the awesome education your channel has given me in how to hook up 2cycle motors, I live in the central highlands of Mexico, and you channel has allowed me to create a string trimmer( weed Wacker) that will cut the crazy jungle that passes for grass here. Thanks tinman for everything man.
I have done something like this not very long ago too. I managed to put a husky 372 full wrap on a sachs dolmar 143. Had to bend it a bit here and there
I got a full wrap coming for my ported 625 from Cory Corp. love the full wraps! Great job on the mod. Some fab Willy dogs will really help that saws stance!
Great video, I like the Jonsered’s and they are getting harder to find. It’s only a 66cc saw with a 28” bar, it’s gonna be nose heavy. A lightweight bar would be nice, especially if you run the saw a lot. Keep up the great content.👍
Hi Tinman. Great vid. Here in Norway (yes, next to chainsaw Sweden), we don’t use much full wrap handles. However, I’d love to get one for my Great Red 2095. Been searching briefly for one, but I can’t seem to find a serious place online. You have a good tip on where to look? Where do you get yours (for customes or wharever)?
I really enjoy your content just a quick question what bearings did you use to rebuild the bottom end of that a year ago do you happen to remember I am getting ready to do the same to mine I'm also looking for the upper part of that chain brake handle mine is also an 1984- 630

Since I am left handed I have trouble with half raps to begin with. A full rap would be awesome I have never had a saw with a full rap. Would really make life a lot easier A. Great job buddy. Thank you. ❤️🌲🪓❤️🌲🪓
