Hey everyone, new amateur climber here, started about two months ago with some basic equipment after wathing this channel. Just doing it in the weekend, just for the fun of learning something new. Today is the first day I got over 60ft and if wasn't for the end of the three I could have kept going for a little longer. I think i reached that height where the fear of height stop growing, so definitely a milestone for me. I wanted to thank buckin, because is the one who made me interested into climbing threes.
Enjoyed the tree buck. Always wondered why you’d stop when you were on a roll. Now I know it’s because you wanted the blade to cool down before moving on. Thanks for the lesson friend.💯❤️👍🏾😀🙋🏽♀️✝️🙏🏾🇺🇸
Ironhorse and Tinman flat out know how to build saws! I love watching you take them to their fullest potential with your files and tuning screwdriver 😃 Awesome stuff 👍
grazy power on those saws. and its so fun to watch videos from ironhorse and tinman when they build these saws.porting saws like they do its real art.allso realy dry here in sweden. we must start saving water too.
I wasn't aware of fir being any different than pine. Thanks for schooling me today. I mainly cut red oak, it's like cutting steel! Thanks for teaching me to sharpen my own chain, saving money now!!
Oh my everyone of those saws is just flat out cuttin. Love it thank you to all the awesome people that have a hand I making this happen. Thank you Buckin for all of the tips along the way, they are priceless. Love ha brother🌲❤🌲✊🪓
Looks like you had a Junco (bird) in the chainsaw bunker! They are fall and winter birds in our part of North America, but probably spend their summers with you guys! What a beautiful thing..... The contrast of a little bit of nature mixed in with all of those beautiful power saws! 😌 Love you all....❤️❤️❤️ Lieutenant Bradley
Hey Buckn! I've got jonsered 670 with an OEM 272 husky cylinder with a popup piston this saw was purchased from R.Lamb it was also built & ported by him.l bought a while back & added an aftermarket 390 carb & a buckshot muffler. This bad boy hits 26500 W.O.T on the tachometer with 36 inch larger bar with a full comp chain! Cut mesquite wood with it here supah hard wood..I didn't tach it in the cut yet but it a RIPPAH! To you, family & Buckn army stay kind ,stay safe! ALOHA from MAUI!😳😎🤙🏾
Hi Buckin! Thanks for recommending Tinman a few days back! I found his channel and have learned so much from him and you! Sometimes the simplest stuff you overlook and can make life easier by watching someone else! Thanks again!
OHHH MMYYY BUCKIN!!! you gave the tweek with the carburetor screwdriver and she come up on the pipe every hair on my body stood straight up!!!! I LOVE THE SOUND OF A PORTED 2 STROKE!!! Hogan's dolmar is my favorite still!!
Man I just love to hear a two stroke roar like that. I wish I had access to your builders. Would love to have my old 288xp sound like your saws. Cutting is fun but would be even more so with performance like that in my hands. Love your videos and the knowledge I gain from watching. Thanks.
After watching you for a year now, I do think the only Stihl saws you like is the 200t. And for being a Stihl guy, I got to say that Husqvarna 266, is really something!
Loved the video Buckin great job! I am thinking of upgrading from a husqvarna 445 and getting a new husqvarna 572 and i am very excited watching these saws!!
Ello Billy and the Bucking Army how is everyone doing on this warm monday afternoon. Hope all is well in the naruborhoods all over the world be kind and be safe and most of all enjoy life to fullest friends.
The pur of a huskie is something I will love for the rest of my life! Now if only I could smell that gorgeous mix of fuel/oil, wood chip and bar oil, I would be in heaven!!! ❤👍👍👍👍👍
Those saws sound great. Where did the dogs on the 266 come from? You’re doing your boy a service, there’s no better teacher than Dad. I remember breaking my boy in 9 years ago now. It’s fun partnering up with him again now and then.
One of these days, you guys are going to be bucking together like in this video, and the saws are going to hit perfect synchronous harmony, the optimum cutting vibration will occur, and all the trees that you've dropped in the area will all spontaneously fall apart in perfect woodstove lengths. :)
Vary glad to here ya have more axe builds to come. I was wondering . Buckin I am hoping ya still have that beautiful dubble build ya did a while back. Just afraid to say more. Oustanding man. Love wins.
Some folks ask me "How can you listen to 30 minutes of a loud chainsaw cuttin' trees?" I ask "How could I go 30 minutes without breathing?" Silly people!
Good day to ya Buckin and Logan. Welcome to all be kind. After wailin on wood then ta roll out in mrytle with a jag of saws like that must feel good YO
Back in my splitting days, I have used all kinds of contraptions that were the biggest waist of money. I had an ax that had these little fingers on both sides. When you bury the blade, the fingers pushed the wood apart. I loved my ax. It was a 5 pound ax. A real tool. Someone who knew my dad bought a so called splitting wedge. It weighed 12.5 pounds. From the cutting edge to the flat was 7 inches. The , I call it the hammer side, was 5 inches wide. The head was 5 inches thick. It was on a steel 1 1/2 inch × 3.5 feet long round handle. If you saw it Billy, you would probably throw it in the scrap metal pile. It was the most awkward thing in the world to try to swing. It was a triangle on a 3 foot pole. Billy, it was the most useless piece of crap in the world. I wish I could talk to you. Typing my stories is such a pain. I am now disabled. Had my left leg amputated last year. I don't have a lot to do now days. I miss hard work. Keep the videos coming brother. PEACE ✌
@@oldmanfred8676 how are you buddy,HOPE all is well my friend ,I read an article about how eating raw garlic can reduce inflammation and uric acid for gout thought you might want to give it a try PICKLED GARLIC works also goodluck buddy
Fir County... red fir, white fir... no piss fir??? Washington state??? Ur absolutely right.. long bars save energy... Pine sucks... I cut juniper.. love ur channel man..
And still some think noise = output power. We have some too in the NE. Good for hearing-aid sales, true. And ... in some cases a longer bar is like a cheater-stick for saw to wrestle you, and cut stuff. Not good. Filing chain IMO is great also for giving you all the excuse you need to drop your pulse-rate and temp for a few minutes, while tuning up saw dentures.
problem with filing when yer production fallin' is us grinders end up with much more scale at the end of the day , ok for a company man . but not a contract fella like myself , great for residential . i do like my round filin'
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith First, I spend very little time filing chain, using Granberg guide to do that precisely, with a couple strokes/tooth, typically every other fillup. The whole idea: KEEP chain sharp. No stump vise needed. The couple minutes filing is an opportunity to sketch out the next work and get yer pulse rate down. IMHO, cutting frenzies are possible preludes to ER visit. No, thanks. I do use a grinder, for others' rocked chains, then file them. Keep on buckin'.
Then tell your congressman to push for them to start cutting us timber and selling it to us mills and not to the Chinese. An stop voting for the idiots who are against this shit.
Those 66’s rip. My god for the size of them they just rip!! Ironhorse and tin man It’s weird ironhorse’s sounds like a dirt bike. Must be the pipe. As always WORK SAFE 😎😎🇨🇦🇨🇦
For comparison. Fir and white oak, while having similar BTU values, differ greatly in weight. One cubic foot of Fir is approximately 35 pounds. One cubic foor of white oak is approximately 48 pounds.
@Buckin' Billy Ray Smith would you consider doing a commentary video on other fallers techniques? Compare what you would do the same or differently in the same scenario
G'day everyone hope you are all well and have a wonderful day! And yes keep the saw singing! I let a mate use my saw on job we did together as his wasn't cutting straight and I said you can use it long as you keep it pinned . It was my ported 372 and I built it to be used hard with all the good internals. Keep safe everyone much love and kindness to you all! 🌲
Bucking long time sub here. Listening to the 266xp’s singing is inspiring me to have mine rebuilt and put it to work again. It was the first new I bought I long time ago. Do you know if I can put a 52mm piston in it of course the block will have to be changed. I’ve seen kit for this will it work?. Love the channel. Hogan is learning for a master of the craft. 👊👊
