You'll get a hell of a lot more than 10 years out of that, a guy where I work has the older one ( same engine and deck as this, its just back then it was more of an option and not standard equipment like it is now. ) Anyway I believe it is a 2016 model, and just the other day he had it at work running and mowing flawlessly you couldn't tell the difference between that or a brand new tractor. So at 5 years it won't show any aging, other than the plastic discoloration wich can be fixed if you coat it in AMSOIL "muddslinger" spray, I use it on all my dirt bikes and chain saws plastics and even the engines, it protects them from U.V. light from the sun, and keeps em looking new forever. Plus mudd/sawdust/dirt washes off with just the spray from your hose, no need to scrub. Works on mower decks as well to keep grass off, just don't hit the belt with it as its slick lol.
Cheaper, better quality and reliability than the Gotway EX. And yet, the Husqvarna tractor seems to be built with more materials, components, steel not cheap plastic, and labour involved. Great variety of vids, look forward to the next one, thanks.
Great review. So much for "Automatic Locking Diff". Can see why the more expensive 300 series come with 'electronic locking diff'. Could there be an issue with yours? I've seen other Husky vids on RU-vid with the auto locking diff - it takes considerable amount of wheelspin before it locks the other wheel. Going around a corner should not lock both wheels from what i've seen. I would reach out to husky...please let me know what they say if you do, im very interested in this machine, but that is huge turnoff if that wheel lock is normal. Thank you. Also - you must love mowing grass... 3 acres with a 42" deck... How long does it take you to do the whole thing?
It appears locked out all the time to me. Any sharp turns always result in grass getting chewed up. The wheels are not losing traction. I have heard others talk of the same behavior with this model.
@@Duf brought the same exact machine home yesterday. With steering at full lock the rear wheels DO NOT lock and chew up the grass. In fact my only gripe with machine is the front wheels were so far out of alignment from the factory they were the only thing chewing up the grass. After a front end alignment it drives perfect.
If your cutting 3 acres, I would have got the 48 in deck. It is fabricated, not stamped like the 42 in deck. Nevertheless, nice lawn tractor. Good luck with it.
I have about 3 acres but on a weekly basis only mow about half of that. A 48 incher would be too wide to get through my gate between the front and back yard.
?? Is this really King Song? Asking if the tractor lawn mower has tiltback? If it really is King Song, are you able to increase the battery pack of the next S18 model to 1540 Wh or preferably more, include blue tooth speakers, and have the original handle like in the KS 18XL. Brighter LED (dual) headlight(s), a kickstand, perhaps built in front and rear video camera(s) with sound recording, removable SD/TF memory card. Seems everyone agrees that the S18 has the best suspension, but the very limited battery/range is making the rival V11 the preferred EUC in its class. Thanks.
Let me tell you in my riding both wheels, the 1100 WH battery in the S18 is only SLIGHTLY worse in range to the advertised 1500WH in the V11. The range performance of my 16X yesterday really was eye opening. After 43 miles I had 37% remaining with a 1554Wh battery.
@@Duf KS 18XL also has 1554Wh battery. The range performance of the 16X of 43 miles, 37% remaining is the same as the 18XL, no surprises. Have found that when the EUC World app states full charge of 100% has been made, it's not really accurate. It makes a big difference to charge it up to the 84.2V reading, and not when the app says it's 100% charged. The KS S16 with 840Wh battery has half the range of the KS 18XL tested with riding. Am a bit surprised that the S18 1100Wh is only slightly less in range to the V11 1500Wh. Think 1100Wh in S18 is too low. Would choose V11 range over S18 better suspension.
