Great review Calvin. To be honest I was here looking for comparisons of Husqvarna vs Sthil 37cm battery operated lawn mowers 🤷♂️ however i will want a trimmer later so you’ve given a fellow Welshman something to seriously think about ,thanks for putting this review here .
Got husqvarna 75cm with xtorq engine, great machine. I also use Stihl hs 82r and hs45. The stihl engines seem to have more torque than the husqvarna you do notice it when switching between them but husqvarnas xtorq engine runs smooth and is quiter, nicer to use to be honest. But you should try the stihl hs 82 either the r or the t version, quality machines. The r version is for rough cutting and the t version is high speed for trimming. Good video though Calvin
Hi Brian. Thanks for the comments. I'll be doing some side by side stihl vs Husqvarna videos very soon ( keep a look out for them ) I'm looking forward to them to compare the machines. Yes I will try the stihl hs 82. Cheers Calvin
Its a cracking bit of kit mate, mine hasnt missed a beat either. I also have the 122c strimmer which has the same engine as the hd60 and a lot of people complained about that aswell mines been absolutely bulletproof.
i total agree i brought the husqvarna and haven't regretted it its lighter, lower vibration, lower noise and has the swivel back handle sadly my has developed mysterious leak for the carburetor areas which i just cant seem to find where it leaking and why. great video just subscribed
Hi. Thanks for the sub. Yes I really like these hedge trimmers . what about replacing the carb if you can't see what's wrong with that one. Obviously you checked the pipes Bit of a common fault . but mine as been perfect. All the best Calvin
Husqvarna is made in Sweden, stihl is made in Germany and Echo is made in Japan, I love my Husqvarna 122hd60 as well, never going to replace, unless it’s broken of cause.
Hi Matt. Thanks for the comments. Yes I think these Husqvarna 122hd60 hedge trimmers are great. I think they are really well made / light / quiet and very reliable. ( This model is made in china but that shouldn't put people off because they are a quality bit of kit made to a high standard ) I'll be buying another one very soon. Cheers Calvin
Calvin Thomas thanks for the reply, I’m thinking of getting the Husqvarna 522HDR60X because I’m starting to do more commercial jobs, as always love your videos
Hi Matt. I'm glad you like my videos. I never knew about the new Husqvarna 522hdr60x hedge trimmer. I want one now lol. To me it looks like it has exactly the same engine as the 122hd60 which is good news because I can't fault these engines. I can see it has full springs for anti vibration and double sided cutting blades which is all good news. I will be buying one and reviewing it very soon. Cheers Calvin
Exactly, the only thing said here was the stihl doesn't have an adjustable handle though the larger ones do these days. What about cutting ability? I don't care what a tool sounds like on a workbench, cut something with it.
@@Catubrannos the hd60 is the quietest petrol trimmer available, and the hs45 weighs a absolute ton compared to the hd60, the hs45 does have a stronger engine, but the hd60 wins hands down everywhere else. My opinion
