ive found its almost never a good idea to trust a previous techs diagnosis 😂even if im there to replace a part, i first check that part is the problem. 75% of the time i find the actual problem in doing so.
I had the feeling something wasn't plugged in correctly, but I have done that very thing. Anyone could do that. I still remove one wire at a time on all boards. good job paul.

I recognized you driving in Elmsford ny up 9a towards sams club. I am an oil burner mech. 30 yrs and when you go back on someone else’s call you have to be a detective to figure out what they were dealing with and how they came to that conclusion. Good catch on plug but it happens. I work in a nyc plant and part of my job is servicing Hvac heating and ac units. I am a boiler guy but enjoy watching your calls From a service guy point of view.
I in bronx, work in dep plant 2 yrs now. I took ac in Boces in ‘96. just for personal knowledge. I still have oil stops couple right where You were passing. I enjoy working in the field. Needed a rest from the rushy rush and always on call. Thanks Eric H

Thanks brother. I make mistakes everyday - in regular life too. A mistake is never a failure, it’s a learning experience. Depending on the severity, I guess will determine if we want to think the issue through next time. HVAC is great trade. We do it all, one way or another, we have most likely tried, and either failed and learned or learned from fail. (Same difference. I appreciate.
