Weird, I have a 20 ounce can of ultra synthetic that I bought from walmart around May 2022 and it clearly says to NOT use it in a hybrid with electric compressor. Product code is ACP-100V. Is there a specific product code of ultra synthetic that is hybrid compatible?
You can buy any of our A/C Pro Extreme recharge kits for use in hybrid vehicles. They are sold at auto retailers. Also this product sold at AutoZone also works www.acprocold.com/product/acp-200d-ultra-synthetic-recharge-kit-with-digital-gauge-20oz/
i've got mb e300 hybrid (S212) 2014, ac comp. electric, and it says: R134a, pag oil (SAE J638) :) so don't listen to this, but look at what your vehicle tells you!
Not all PAG oils are the same. Your hybrid vehicle may have an electric compressor (and not a belt-driven compressor), Using a product with a PAG without the proper dielectric strength can lead to a short in your system as the A/C lines can carry current.
