Great Comparison. I shoot Weddings with multiple S5 II, shoot in Zone Mode AF for that situation. The Zone will allow you to size the zone for one person or all three. I nail AF in that scenario with zero problems. Hope this helps. We shoot Canon for photo but having 2 Systems sucks.
Which has better dynamic range but for photo? I understand that for videos the lumix is better but it seems like dynamic range for photos is better on the R6II?
@@Lucidexplore I think the DR is similar on both cameras but for photos only I would choose Canon. It is just better photo camera overall and doesn’t have problems with moire like Lumix does.
@@juliankrakowguide me R63 is coming after some months.. if I buy R62 .. my camera will be one generation old. What should I do now. Would you upgrade R52 if option available.
I remember when I went to the camera store to buy my first camera I actually went there to buy the Sony A7iv until I held it in my hands and compared it to the canon r6 mark ii. The Sony felt like an old camera and the canon looked more modern. I ended up getting the canon instead. I even had a little buyers remorse in the beginning because of the dynamic range. But I moved past that because of the false color. I don’t think I can have another camera without false color. To me the only downside to canon is the lenses. Rf lenses are so expensive but hopefully sigma will be releasing some rf lenses soon. Good video thanks.
How the camera feels in hand is more important than people think, especially if you are using it everyday for hours at work. Thank you for the comment.
I'm confused basically I have plan of getting R6 mark 2 just 4 months used with RF 24-105 4L and RF 100 2.8 + 256 GB card 300MB/s In 3465 USD. On the other hand R5mark2 is 4265 USD. I also don't have any lens. There are 2 options first is buy the 2 lens with R62 or 2nd option is R52 with Rf50 1.8... later on I'll upgrade my lens 24-105.. is it worth to sacrifice more money. I want 4,5 years future safe. If you're in my place what you'll do?? Is it good offer or suggest me any other option!! I don't have any gear now .. I used to have 5dmark3 in 2016... But I changed my field as currently working in the restaurant business industry. I want to target small restaurants and small businesses for social media and products photography, as I have planned to give free 30 sec, 1 min reels for Snapchat, tiktok and Instagram. Just to build my portfolio on Instagram and other platforms. Plus I'll do street photography as I'm living an expat in Saudi Arabia. I belong to Pakistan.
@@iabdulhaseeb in my opinion I would say go with Sony. Lenses were a big factor for me switching to Sony. The Sony e mount has lenses for every budget. You want the best lenses Sony offers you go with a GMASTER. Normally they even tend to be a little cheaper than canon rf l glass. Canons lenses are too expensive in my opinion. A canon rf l 24-70 2.8 costs more than the canon r6 mark ii. Plus normally the new Sony cameras have more dynamic range for video than the canon r6 mark ii,r8,r7 r10 even the canon r5 mark 1. Sony gives all the new cameras 422 10 bit s log 3 in multiple codecs like all I which is almost comparable to Apple ProRes. If you want c log 2 and better codecs from canon you have to get the r5 mark ii or their cinema cameras. Which are over priced in my opinion. But not as over priced as the canon rf lenses. In my opinion Sony is the way to go just because of the lens and price selection alone.
The price is is the big elephant in the room - if you want RF glass then it costs you arm or kidney. EF lenses are not as good for video because of the noisy motor. So I would say L-Mount system, that has grown and is cheaper might be a better choice
@@mevszach It is great if you use lumix lens with IS like the 24-105 f4 it’s good with the 20-60 but from 20mm and wider it introduces wobble in the corners.
