Hello Mark. Thanks for expanding on your Hydrocore series. I bought one based on your recommendation. I actually bought a lot of things based on your recommendation come to think of it... I love this thing. The chaotic nature of the water and the control over the somewhat awkward form of it has made it my favourite modality of training - in contrast to the clubs and maces. I can actually feel how this thing is trying to rip through my mid-section and love how I can add a cup of water each week. I'd love to see in the future anything 360 oriented that has us move this thing L/R full circle. I have been practicing this but I'd love your take on it.
On one hand, I'm glad that you go over techniques I've been doing with the hydrocore, it means I'm doing something right. On the other, I can't wait for some new stuff to try. I've done the front to back rock it with the hydrocore but have yet to try the side to side.
Could you do a video on Hydrocore Halos using both the fixed handles and the rope handles? It feels like I'm most of the way there but it also feels a little bit uncontrolled and I'm thinking I'm just not quite hitting the right technique
@@MarkWildman Cool, look forwards to it, I'm really enjoying this series BTW, revisited Halos in front of a mirror which made me close the circle down a bit and that felt better. I'm noticing it in my arms, shoulders and core but not so much in the legs so anything that will work my legs would be good. I'm finding it very intuitive and hope to learn enough to be able to just put on a timer and start working out in an almost freestyle way so anything that connects moves or exchanges would be awesome
Nope. You could do that. Maybe use some nylon pats cord and some dog peanut butter balls to simulate the hydrocore handles? Probably easier to use an old judo belt and make handles on the ends. I should make a video on that
