Hydrogenation Reaction 

I set up a hydrogenation reaction. In this transformation, I wanted to reduce a nitrile to the corresponding primary amine. I found a protocol in which the nitrile group was reduced by exposing the substrate to Raney Nickel under an atmosphere of hydrogen.
