a lot of people might see this as being an incompatible relationship, but i think it's actually incredibly healthy Hyori now has someone to keep her grounded. She's had a crazy life and has such an "out there" personality, sometimes people like that need someone that is the opposite for them to be whole.

I couldn't agree more. When she was speaking about how living with her is like living with a few different women it felt like I was sitting there and talking about myself :P my partner, on the other hand, is most of the time stable and someone who puts up with my crazy mood swings but also tells me to get it together if I go overboard. And I couldn't think of anyone better for me, than him :)

its sad but true that artist don't make any money from their music. A lot of ppl don't buy music these days because you can just stream it on platforms like Spotify. Unfortunately, due to this, artists (not just Kpop artists) don't actually make any money from their music. From what I hear, when you stream songs from Spotify, the artist only get approx. 1cent per stream and usually that goes to the recording company and not to the artist.

Well even in the past during the time when people buy albums (physically) they don't get much money from their sales, in fact TLC even when they won a Grammy award and sold millions of Albums they said that they had little money and it wasn't until they left their record label when they were finally able to have enough. So in the end it's not a matter of should cd be preferred or should Spotify be preferred because even since the 1950's most of the money an artist can get will come from commercials,concert tours and if you are really popular be in tv with high ratings or a movie that would be a box office hit.

esp if you're in a big company. they need to pay for staffs. look at the kpop idol groups, one group usually has more than 1 managers, stylist, ect, i guess usually 5-7 staffs in one group or more.

GD's money probably comes from his royalties. He has over a hundred songs copyrighted under his names, he makes money any time those songs are played on certain platforms.

They also have been touring continuously for years. They held and is currently is still performing in many large size stadiums. Those tickets, merchandise and appearance fee is where they make most of their money. That's why bigbang mostly do tours instead of variety shows since income comes from concerts. Cfs are also a big deal. Celebs get millions from it, especially if its a huge brand.

I wasn't very aware of her despite her fame but after watching so many interviews, I've come to like her. Girls like her are rare, even abroad. So levelheaded, she knows what she wants and tells everyone what she thinks. She's not tied down but tradition and respects people by who they really are. She's a really good role model.

I discovered hyori from her show "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" (its on netflix btw), and i fell in love with how real and confident she was. I've been keeping up with her releases and appearances ever since, like ssak3, refund sisters etc. She is honestly so fun. Sangsoon is also very calm but also the funniest person ever. You can see that they are so well matched in the show.

It’s his job to make the show more entertaining. Hyori did explained that in variety shows they need those useless bickering just to make the show lively and not boring. If you watch many variety shows, they are always at least one person doing that role. I’m sure he didn’t meant any real harm.

Hyori is always so cool, I admire her. She's 100% right about how bad the Korean music industry is. That's why it's so hard for musicians with talent to make it in the business because there are many who don't have drop-dead gorgeous look and unfortunately Korean society is all about image. That's why it pisses me off when seeing those singing competition shows because all the audience reactions are overly done and you don't hear anything about those competitors after the show because they aren't model perfect. I understand that first impressions are important, especially for media, but an industry can't grow depending on the next new face. There needs to be musicians creating actual music and earning money from it!!

Dude in pink is so annoying especially when he said that Sangsoon was a saint to be able to stand Hyori -_- Imm glad someone corrected him and said no actually Sangsoon had a blast with Hyori’s personality. Like I’m sure living with someone so animated and passionate is a lot of fun, why would you assume that her husband has to ‘stand’ her ugh

i just finished watching her show on JTBC and i'm loving her even more now. i used to hear her name as a great sunbae to idols these days. now i know why.
