Crash one is so unforgiving because you don't have any of the abilities from the sequels not even as an extra option for completing the other two on the n' sane trilogy before crash 1 that would have been a cool little extra since I'm sure the double jump would have helped a lot here especially on the high road

is this the actual reason? because that would be interesting. I got it and played through it and thought it was a little tough but no where near this hard.

They also made Crash fall faster in this version and if you keep bouncing on the same spot the game will make you slip off and eventually fall,something that wasn't in the original game either.

Or maybe it's just been a long time. Because I played the third game first, because that's what I grew up with and that felt harder to me.

I would love if in Donkey Kong Country if you beat the game in less than an hour with one life, he'd just go: "Well, well, well. Aren't you quite the little try-hard?" And he just gets super salty.

I literally just did that not completed it because fuck no i don't have a death wish but i managed to do it and it nearly drove me insane.Also it wasn't in an hour.

Thank god they didn't attempt Stormy Ascent on his run or that would have hurt worse since it was cut from crash 1 originally for running out of time to fix its difficulty before release but it is in the original version you just need to use a Game Shark or AR or something similar to make the game load it up they added it in the n' sane trilogy as DLC just as hard as it was before but fixed to be actually finished and the ability to unlock Coco for use in all 3 games was a nice touch as well for this remake but the physics have been changed and the controls were a little slippery compared to the original games but it was still fun

@ max solis yes. you can 100% this game a lot easier than 1 since you dont have to worry about saves and can die multiple times (except for colored gems). you just forgot because you been playing games that allow you to finish them 2 to 3 lives.

tompparaideri I know this comment was 8 months ago, but they messed up the platform collision boxes in the remaster. They made then "oval" like when they used to be circles. This makes most of the harder jumps significantly harder then they used to be.
