Great race Will. I always enjoy your videos and want to thank you for all you do for the sim community. Much respect and love from the Pacific Northwest of America mate!
Great content, the racing is immersive and I am focused on the track like if i was the driver. I also really liked the replay to understand how you lost your P.
Agree that 296 is much more stable than 488, perhaps due to increased downforce. It also seems more prone to understeer and slides a lot but doesn’t lose the rear as easily as the 488.
Nice to see you back with iR - would love to see you in a series maybe IMSA mixed multi-class - that will keep you on your toes - LOL Have a great day buddy.
Liked your video. I have a lot more practice to do. Started Iracing 2 weeks ago. My best time on spa is 2:22 and so much slower than you 😂😂😂. Now im curious, what were you changing by turning the knob on your steering wheel? Brake bias?
Haven't been sure about the Grid wheel after seeing some pictures but seeing it in action on your rig, it's actually quite nice looking - also every video you put out makes me really start to consider Asetek
I have a triple screen setup 55in and I calculated my fov correctly but my driver side mirror still looks a little to big and I can’t get it fixed. Your setup looks perfect. What else can I do? Or is that just how it is with 55in screens?
Wow that T1 incident...... the driver in that blue car needs to go back to driving school. Turned in like the other car wasn't there. Accelerated into the car on the inside. Turned into the outside cars. I mean. wow.
Anyone else having an issue with the new update where you pull out of the pits and just shortly after the whole sim crashes? Or has it happened to anyone previously? It’s really disappointing because I’m completely unable to even practice, let alone race. :(
I also came back to iRacing after a 6 months break. After the first 2 races I got punted in 4 races in a row all in A class by wreckless drivers.... Also extremely anoying ghost touches with instant 4x for nothing. I feel that the grip is completely strange on some cars. Maybe I have to delete my setups and start from scratch? For example I can't drive the AMG GT3 anymore, tail brakes loose on throttle way too easy !?? All in all its the same iRacing experience as always, a lot of frustation, pointless race to SR and IR cause you never know if an idiot is gonna crash into you....
@@jamiemb17 there's plenty of fun racing you can do on iRacing with just your subscription to test out if you like it or not, plus there's plenty of 3 months free codes floating around so it's not that bad just to test it out
I would if you enjoy Sim racing alot. Def worth it imo. Yes compared to other sims it’s costly but it also doesn’t compare to other sims lol. Would also recommend starting very slowly! All the rookie content is mostly free. Once you rank up would only buy few tracks for the season as you have like 3 drop wks so only the popular ones and maybe just the 296 to start can use that car in many different series. It’s 10$ mon. or cheaper if buy the yr. to race online & support the sim consistent development. Dev team etc. don’t wanna race anymore just stop paying you still own the content, also if you actually join the races IR only sim to give you money back so sub can be pretty much free..also was the only sim i felt actually helps in making much better sim racer all around…simply can’t understand how ppl won’t invest few 100 if that into the actual simulator.. but 1000s-10000+ on gear 😅
