A few days ago Hyperice announced the launch of 3 new products, with one of those being the Hypervolt 2. The Hypervolt 2 is the next generation of Hyperice's popular Hypervolt massage gun. Touted as being lighter and more ergonomic, the device is not all that different from it's predecessor. It boasts the same stroke length and nearly same stall force, but has a batter life lasting one hour longer than the prior generation. In this video I take a look at what all comes with the device, and cover the features and specifications of the massage gun

Thanks! We just bought this today and I love it! My son has the 1st generation and we fell in love with it although it was heavy. This is great! Thank you again!

I am going to get it, my original reason for not getting a Hypervolt was that It was too unwieldy to massage your own back. This one, with lighter weight and easier grip, seems to have solved the issue.

The longer handle definitely helps a bit with reaching some tougher to reach spots

And this one is superior in every way measurable. Quieter, better percussion (stronger and deeper), better build quality, and the battery lasts longer. Sometimes it is very true, you get what you pay for. This one might cost a little more, but it is SO worth it!

@@BestMassageTech What are you going to disagree with? I don't understand ....
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
@@RatingARKReviews 3 things specifically from your comment. 1) The sound is nearly identical to the Plus 2) It is not deeper, the stroke length is exactly the same as the Plus 3) I would not say that it is SO worth it - for $70 less you can get nearly the same exact massage with the Plus. To me the changes they made are not worth it when the actual feeling you get from the device is not noticeably different.

I think it is a good gun. We had the original and it works good for us. This is lighter and easier to hold. I do wish the battery was removable. But I don’t think we need the added power of the Pro or theraguns.

Would you recommend the Hypervolt 2 or Theragun Prime for someone wanting their first massage gun? I know the Prime hits deeper, the sound and pressure sensor are kinda sellers for me, though. What’s your take?
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
Personally I’d prefer the prime.
@EncapTV
@EncapTV 2 года назад
@@BestMassageTech I purchased a Theragun Prime. I liked it somewhat. But for me, it has too much stroke. It kind of feels like you're being punched. In fact, I lent the Theragun to a friend who is quite a bit beefier than me (I'm small), and that was his assessment too. So I just purchased the Hypervolt 2 and I can honestly say the 12mm feels like the sweet spot for me. If you're a hardcore muscle-bound athlete, the Theragun would no doubt be awesome. For us mere mortals, the Hypervolt 2 seems to be a great tool for the daily pre/post workouts, and for general massage.
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
@@EncapTV I definitely agree the Theraguns are a more aggressive massaged, which is why I always try to state that an aggressive massage is my personal preference. Glad you found a device that’s right for you!

Do you think the talon by brazen is equal in stall force? I have the original hypervolt which was good but am looking to get one with an extension but nervous the talon will not be strong enough for me being 280lbs. Thanks for the feedback
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech Год назад
I'd say their stall forces are pretty similar. This may be slightly stronger than the Talon. I will say it's pretty difficult to pull the talon against your back with enough force to stall it with the handle on it.

Can you please tell me witch is batter. Hypervolt model 1 or new model hyperwolt 2? Tnx
@BestMassageTech

I think better is a bit of a relative term depending on what you care about. I prefer the model 1 but think both are sufficient for most people’s needs.

which gun do you recommend to massage your own back of neck for migraines?
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech 2 года назад
if you're strictly trying to do something for your neck only, I'd actually suggest considering a mini massage gun such as the Ekrin Bantam, Jawku Mini or Theragun Mini as they would be easier for you to maneuver around your neck. Otherwise, I'd recommend one the theraguns with the duo adapter attachment.

Hi, I'm quite interested to buy this massage gun, however as the battery can not be remove is it admitted to transport it in a carry-on luggage on flight? Thanks for the video :)

How come on videos everywhere you see the massage gun bounce up and down like on your thigh but in real life it just keeps vibrating in one spot and doesn’t bounce up and down
@BestMassageTech
@BestMassageTech Год назад
I’m not sure I completely follow what you’re asking but when you show it in slow motion you see a lot more of the movement so maybe that’s what you’re seeing in the videos you’re referring to?

@BR-cq2hm 2 года назад
@Blue Too I have an old laptop bag where I can put it so the lack of case is not a deal breaker for me, I bet most people at home have something similar. In fact, if a case makes a massage gun $50 more expensive, I prefer not being offered one :)

Pretty frustrated with my experience so far…just opened my brand new Hypervolt 2 and even though it is showing as green/fully charged when plugged in, it is not turning on when unplugged. No matter how long I hold the power button, will not turn on. Going to leave it on the charger for a while longer and hope that does the trick. I was really looking forward to this purchase! ☹️

@janeduggan7719
@janeduggan7719 2 года назад
@@hamzayaish1950 nope - never turned on after about 4 hours of charging/showing green for nearly the whole time. I returned it and am ordering the 2 pro. I would get a theragun if it weren’t for the fact that I used gift cards to REI which only carries Hyperice products.

I had very high hopes for Hypervolt since I struggle with everyday muscle-pain but got preety disappointed. I bought the Hypervolt 2 but after 4 hours of charging it was still on the red line and after pressing the button it didn't turn on.... I left it charging for the night and it was same story on the next day (same shit different day 😒). In the shop I exchanged it for same model (Hypervolt 2) but another product ,thinking that the first one was deffective... well it turned out that the second one isn't charging as well, I tried with the American attachment (the one of the charger) and it stopped charging completely (showing neither red light ,nor green ,not any)... I am truly mad now and I just want a refund which I will get and never again buy any "Hypervolt". My guess is it's just not adjusted for the European market which means someone didnt do their job right!😑

this is wild but I am having nearly the SAME exact issue! Bought first one Jan 7th. charged it over night - green light showed fully charged. attempted to turn on as instructed via booklet and nothing. returned it on Feb 11th, swapped it out with a new one on the show room floor. charged it for 8 hours.......SAME SHIT. green lights up - blue light blinks on the back but no motor action. no sound, just lights. I'm ready to give up on this company.
