Now it's time for my take on this song! Composition by Manaka Kataoka, Yasuaki Iwata Music by Vetrom My Patreon: / vetrom Twitter: / vetromprojects Tumblr: / vetromprojects #TheLegendofZelda #InstrumentalMix #Cover
@@Sporkinator Nonexistent? Did you forget Monk Maz Koshia, Calamity Ganon, the Blight Ganons, Dark Beast Ganon, Divine Beasts Vah Ruta, Medoh, and Naboris, Kass, Master Kohga, the Lynels, the Moldugas, and the Main Theme already?
There's one of two moods this track conveys. The first is pure fear, usually when you wander into the castle too early in the game. The second is pure determination, when you know you can destroy everything in the building with ease.
This is a message to all remaining hylian legions. The worst has come. Hyrule Castle has fallen. The Guardians and Divine beasts have gone rouge. The champions are MIA, and the Princess has issued order Amethyst-3. We require all remaining units to fall back to Akkala Citadel. That includes the following: East post Garrison Central Garrison Hateno Garrison Kolomo Garrison May Hylia be with you all.
I wish I still felt intimidated by Hyrule Castle. Nowadays I just slip on Majora’s Mask and enter through the dungeon side where I go and raid the rest of the castle for weapons and such. But I _can_ say the music hasn’t lost its touch. Beautiful cover, like always!
So thats how other people do it. I literally just walked straight in and obliterated everything with a phrenic bow and a few ancient arrows. Honestly, I really overprepared, to the point where it felt like all of hyrule castle and ganon were a cakewalk. Though I should probably finally go and take a look inside the castle itself.
HE is here. You have seen his power and remnant fill this place, but HE has returned. You finally remember, not just from this incarnation, but from generations of death, destruction, victory and rebirth. From the ancient sky, to across time itself, from the destruction of hyrule after your fall, to your rebirth as your grandson. From the "eternal" drowning of your home, to mere hundred years ago, where it trived on technology best left forgotten. You remember everything that has happened between you, and everything that COULD have happened. Whether primal deity or mechanical abomination, whether cunning man or mindless beast, your fate is intertwined with his, for eternity. DEMISE, no, GANON is fully reborn. Will you defy fate, finding a final answer to this devil, or does the curse surpass time itself? Today, you find out the answer to that question. Hyrule is dead, and Zelda sealed. This is only between you, and the devil himself.
@@sirius2338 I don't mind, just reference me as "The Ancient observer of timelines" or something like that. Being stuck in the distortion world gave me endless time to learn of alternate worlds and their history.
What I personally like to think, is that they are. Holding back as much of Ganon's Malice that isn't materialized in physical form, making it a full on war from the spirit's point of view.
Impa: (Grabs Zelda And Flees To Kakrico Village) Young Zelda: (Carries The Master Sword With Her) Hylian Knight: Princess And Lady Impa We Must Go They Are Almost Here Young Zelda: (Uses Telepathy On Link) are You Still There? Link: Wh-? Child: (Not Facing Link) Are You Still There? Link: Y-Yes I-I am Here Child: HURRY PLEASE (Vanishes)
The sky blackens as you approach the demon. Malice and tension fills the air. The decayed and the dead rise at the command of the demon. A glow of darkness shines from the castle’s top, urging you to go forth and battle him. To save Hyrule and rid of the beast forever. Zelda is sealed, inside the monster, trapped forever to hold the beast from his next attack on the kingdom. You are Hyrule’s last hope. Once you strike him, Once you deliver the final blow... Perhaps... Perhaps you can finally rest. Perhaps the dead and fallen can finally rest. Perhaps... Perhaps the world will be free from the monsters once more.
The finale of your journey, all leading up to this moment The climactic final battle...one final push through the castle... Guardians and monsters plague the fortress, that has been torn, and twisted by Ganon's Malice...what was once home, is now place of danger Go forth brave soul, chosen by the sword that seals the darkness... Save Zelda...save Hyrule...save the WORLD Lay this demon to rest, once again... You will not fail this time... You CANNOT fail this time... Finally, you stand before the throne room, and the demon you set out to destroy, 100 years ago Your sword glows brighter, each step you take towards it It's all up to you, hero of Hyrule Avenge, all those who have fallen...
If you ever get bored, I have a challenge to present to you. What you're going to need: Either many ancient arrows, or exceptional skill. A lot of good gear as well. The challenge? Completely clean out hyrule castle.
That isn't just a challenge! That's, (to me at least) the canon of Link! If you ask one of the NPCs in the stable near Hyrule Castle, she gives you various styles to get through the dungeon. But if you ask for another way? She tells you of "The Hero Style." Rush head first and clear everything. If that isn't implicit enough evidence that Link wouldn't do that... I'm all ears!
How Link would perceive everything from a gamer's perspective writing a journal "Okay, so 100 years ago, this big pig monster guy showed up, and despite all the preparations, the guy went and hijacked all our cool stuff and turned them against us. The proceeding battle was a loss for us, but we defended as best we could, but were forced into a retreat. Not gonna lie, I was magnificent in my swordplay. Pig guy, was called Ganon, apparently, there was a dorf there at the end a long time ago? I dunno why he rejected the 'dorf part, but back to the story, Ganon took over our big four animal-themed machines that had our big guns, and killed four of our strongest guys, and ladies, in the process. Not even the healer was spared, it was awful. Oh but Ganon didn't stop there, oh no no no, he proceeded to surround me, and the cute blond chick I was protecting with all the spider robot tanks he hijacked from us! Appalling I say. I swear if I had my shields at the time, those things would never have stood a chance against me. As I lacked them, however, I found that the supposedly unbreakable Master Sword was running out of juice, and I was getting admittedly tired from it all, seriously, Ganon didn't give me Any breaks at all. Heh, guess this is what I get after kicking his ass so many times in past lives, guess he just felt spiteful of me. So right before I passed out from my admittedly heavy injuries, the girl I was protecting, who was, might I add, the Princess of the kingdom at that, finally unlocked the powers from her past lives and saved us both. Y'know after following her around and saving her butt in the prior months several times, I honestly felt proud. I mean think about it, she just saved me! The greatest Swordsman of the land, finally becoming the one needing saving. 100 years pass by, and I wake up without memories, apparently she had to take a step further to save my life. Now since I was now on my own, and had no regulations stopping me as, well back then I was only able to use the sword, and wear that fancy clothing because of rules. Now though because there's no more kingdom, that means no more rules, which also means, I win. Yeah Ganon, watch out, because when I come for you again for round 2, and I'm counting this life, you, my man, are screwed. Gonna have to thank Zelda later for keeping the pigman locked up while I get myself set up, and when I was retrieving my memories, oh yeah, gave ya the middle finger Ganon while I was at the castle, bet ya didn't even notice you stupid pig, truly that mask, no matter its origins, is a godsend, Hah! Now I just go and see what sort of loot's left on the Plateau, cuz apparently after freeing the big machines, there's something else waiting for me where I woke up. Ooh boy, I wonder what's over there. Maybe something else I can use to humiliate Ganon with?" Link's hypothetical Journal before he goes off to begin the quest for the Motorcycle. Wrote this up as a joke, but if someone wants to go a step further and turn this into an actual story...well that's on whoever goes for it. And to anyone who makes a story based on it, let me know, cuz I wanna view it.
No wonder link died before. He didn't get a fricking shield. In the botw true ending cutscene u see him without his head armour shield or bow. Which means it was zelda choice and it's her fault he couldn't just parry the guardians
I remember first stepping within the castle, seeing the cutscene play, infiltrating through the harbor, and then hearing the interior version play. The outside version sounded like the war march of soldiers marching to battle, but the inside held the silence. The quiet footsteps of those walking to their graves willingly, if only to give Hyrule one more moment to live, to give the innocent lives of the people they were sworn to protect, at the cost of their own. And whenever you enter the place where Ganon lurks, however you get there, you have to enter from the outside. This really struck me because, whatever you do, you have to hear the march. The footsteps of soldiers marching to the future, whatever it may be. And just as Link does, echoing their footsteps. Only, he succeeded. Honestly, I found Breath of the Wild to be one of the saddest Zelda games because of the implications... how many innocent lives were taken? How many children lost their parents, families, homes, and futures? How much has suffered because of Ganon? It was the grandeur of Hyrule castle, destroyed, broken, and infested with monsters that really drove this point home. I entered the area for the first time and cried because it brought everything to the front. (And yeah, Ocarina of Time was really sad too, as was Majora's Mask, but those were different kinds of sad. I found Ocarina of Time to actually be sadder than Majora's Mask though....)
Well, you made an amazing track even better. Although I must say I would LOVE to see someone adapt this track into a something more horrifying. Like, it already gives me goosebumps, but can you imagine this but more somber, with the drums like a subtle heartbeat in the background, and the main line a lilting, haunting tune in the foreground? It's already intimidating, but I want someone to make it scare the shit out of me. Like the kind of music that you hear in a horror game that makes you want to run before you've even seen the danger.
I love how it has elements of Ganon, the demon you’re tasked with taking down, as well as the main LoZ theme showing Link in an uphill battle to overcome the odds and save Hyrule, lastly having bits of Zelda’s lullaby, reminding of the princess that sacrificed 100 years to desperately keep this evil at bay, the evil that took your friends, your family, your land, and your memories. Then Link’s theme and Zelda’s theme combine to show the cooperative effort between the two 100 years later, their champions withered to powers of malice and time to finally end this evil and banish the demon of malice and demise from their kingdom.
Walking outside the castle with this song playing is freaking scary, mix that in with the dreadful of a guardian’s death laser about to blast you and your like “nah I’ll come back later”
This is it. This is the moment that really matters. Everything else you've done up until now? That won't matter unless you win this. You have one shot to make it all count. Ganon has arrived, and Zelda is weak. She can't hold him back forever. You have to deliver the final blow once and for all, or it'll all be for nothing. This is your last chance. Do it!
YEEEEEEEEEY!! :D ¡AL FIN! Mi soundtrack favorito de BOTW! Les quedó muy hermoso, sobre todo esa mezcla entre la tristeza y la epicidad. Y usaron las 3 versiones del Castillo de Hyrule, separadas y juntas. ¡Me encantó! ¡Está Súper Genial! :)
Very mysterious and beautiful music mix. I love when u go out to fight Calamity Ganon but again u stop to look around for cool stuff, plus the scenery is gorgeous with the fire burning through the bushes.
From without, a Knight, ready to slay darkness incarnate. From within, a Princess, ready to seal the Calamity until then if need be. From all around, the Demon King, preparing a last surprise for his rival from the remains of this kingdom's last king... 100 years later, we're finally witness to Round 2.
It is impressive how in matters of history the Gerudo people were the ones who suffered the most, but in all other aspects such as Dungeons, Bosses, themes they are the best fights
Oh... My... God! A-mazzzzzing. The best thing i’ve heard since classical came into being. It is truly intoxicating, full of uplifting tunes, and just the beat would be perfect. Keep it up!!!!!
Its funny how i got to hyrule castle a bunch of times to farm guardians and get the hero shield but had a lot of stuff to do, like finish the 4 main quests lol.
This is such a great remix song. I love the buildup and the sounds of marching soldiers. Do you mind if I use it for a college project I am working on? I'll be sure to credit you
This remix is just as fire as the original track. I love the Zelda's Lullaby inclusion at 3:27. Any chance you could make a remix of Hyrule Castle's theme from totk?
The best song to give you motivation to reclaim your girlfriend who's been protecting the kingdom for a 100 years alone. This is your only chance dont screw this up.
