Your breakdowns are always so much better than other people's, you really notice everything and connect it to previously known information very well.

The depth and customization is crazy in this game! literally dying to play a full release 😁

I love how the asset tools can be used from ingame and affect the world in real-time. It almost makes me wonder if Hytale will use chat commands like in Minecraft, or if it will opt for some kind of pop-out GUI for server owners and map makers to quickly change things on the fly. Also, I like to believe they shoot all the footage with the cinematic features built into the game, and I hope we get a devlog one day on the cinematic capabilities of Hytale since it has been touched on very little so far.

Idk how y’all can stay hype for this game, like I was excited until they said it’s coming out in 2024. That killed all hype for me

Brilliant analysis! :D My favourite part was the many immersive atmospheres created my the different weather scenarios and lighting moods. It is very exciting that the same biome in the same place can feel completely different depending on when you are exploring it. Hypixel seems to have thought of everything" Can't wait for the next blog in 6 months time.

Great analysis! Thought there wasn't much left of the trailer (and blog post) to explore since people have been talking about them for a few days already, but you still found tons of things I haven't seen anybody else talk about yet, and broke down the combat tremendously well :)

Hytale at this point is an experience. I remember seeing the original hytale trailer, and forgetting all about it. Later, in 2020, thirtyvirus would reintroduce me to the game. Ever since then, I have been watching every move the devs have made. I cheered while they made monthly updates...for a solid 3 months in a row. I was saddened when they revealed the delay till 2023. I want to believe the game will be bad. That is the easy option, I could leave the community and ignore the game. But, every time an update happens, I believe. The fact that riot games believes in it, forces me to believe. Riot is currently desperately trying to expand into a multimedia company. Every single move they make is for money. Arcane would not look as fucking beautiful as it does without that motive. All that tells me is that hytale will be something special. If it wouldn't be, riot would not be putting its weight behind it. Riot would not have authorised the delay till 2023. If it was just great, riot would have rushed it, with a 2021 release and an update timeline for the next few years till the game would truly have released. No matter how hard I try, I cannot stop thinking of this game. I am fully willing to wait years. Even if a good portion of those years are spent thinking, wondering what I could be doing in hytale, knowing that it will be coming...it is comforting, in a fucked up backwards way. It could be 5 years away, but seeing this over the horizon would still be comforting. I wonder what I could do with hytale. Everyone has plans, what they will be doing with hytale. My plans for an rpg with a vague fallout style is only a small part of that. Just, everything with this game is exciting. I am willing to wait a couple extra years.

Yooooo, I was right now searching for stuff about combat in this game, are we finally getting good melee combat on a first person RPG?

I love the extra movement options and extra high jump, that is going to be so nice

Man, i am very excited by the game, just imaginijg the modders can make with this game... Does put a smile on my face.

I hope you can download presets for weathers, mobs, animations, etc. I am too dumb to create something on my own that is even remotely decent.

the more footage i see the more excited i get for hytale. such as the combat, its cool seeing how each player uses their weapons and speculating the little details about each weapon, like i know theres a offhand which can be used for sheilds or a second dagger, but iit makes me the tiniest bit curious if you can mix and match weapons somehow, obviously you cant it with two handed weapons but what about something like a sword and a knive, would you have some sort of combo with that? where you have a slow heavy damage dealing swipe, then a fast strike shortly after? i dunno just the kind of stuff i like thinking about. then theres also teh forest scene, i like the atmosphere of that place and the mob we see in there aswell. ok rambling over, long story short, im excited for hytale and dont mind if they need to take yet another year...(i hope they dont lol) just hope the end product is worth it

Yes I like the idea of abilities based on weapons, it create two scenarios, learn to use it and learn against it which is timing for dodging attacks.

2:00 When the dagger player strike the mace player, there are no red flicker on the mace player indicating the mace player didn’t take any damage from that dagger strike either from the helmet protection or the mace player blocked it with his mace? Same thing happened in 4:01

The mantling and butt sliding are the most interesting ones :D Also those fire effects look beautiful.

Frankly this made me glad they delayed launch. The Combat already look leagues better then I pictured it would be back during the first trailer

I hope they add vehicles to this game too I seen the minecart used in the announcement trailer but it would be nice if they had like a steam train to help get around the area quicker or if you want to haul around gear or you want to store at a certain house you can or maybe a magical glider that can get you up to the Skylands something like that!

I'm so happy Hypixel is taking their time with this. I know it sounds like heresy but I'd rather wait years for a masterpiece than get a flawed gem now.

One of my favorite games growing up and still kind of is, was Rayman Arena (or Rayman M) where you'd pick a character and race your friends or AI along a foot race track with obstacles, sliding slopes, and buttons that opened shortcuts. I can't wait for Hytale to come out so I can make it an official gamemode type instead of just a fun activity based on the honor system. I can add stuff like an infinite snowball to trigger buttons with, configure the default jump height, add in bounce pads or speed boosters. Oh the possibilities.

I can’t wait to see the lightning/sky zone with floating islands, finally a parallel to Minecraft’s Aether

The Combat look so alive i Love it

These abilities would really make combat worth practising and mastering and is not just click and shield like minecraft which kinda feels bland tbh. I really hope there is a grappler or something similar allowing you to jump to far away blocks and take on dungeons assassinating enemies without being seen like batman Arkham games.

Man, hopefully I'll be able to play this game in my lifetime. Gosh. I mean, I'm all about them fully polishing the game, but geez Scoob, like, the anticipation is killing me man xD

The only thing I’m not to much of a fan of are the effects. I feel like they would be cool on a magical or “legandary” weapon but don’t really fit with something like some steel daggers or what appears to be a bronze mace.

Got to give credit where its due, that was a good ad segway.

also i really hope we get a class system in hytale, i think that would make the game so much more immersive

I don't know if you managed to see it but during the combat clip you can see how some of the blows were actually blocked and the players did not received any dmg. This will also be big part of the combat system - to know when to block and apparently you can do that without a shield.

There's a Skylands in Hytale? Huh, I wonder if we'll see some Skylanders references in there or something. Would be an amazing callback to childhood

I like how the assassin dashed through the side making it's body turn 90° and the time it dashed through the air it lands on one foot.... and the hammer one getting cast cancelled + in building i like how they carry blocks like its heavy and the player strafed backwards.... ngl even the game takes too long ill wait

Honestly hyped for the movement.

it would be cool for combat when playing for example sumo, right clicking your fists to block attacks and dodging movement like low crouching, crawlings, evading so you can auickly sprint to the side to evade combat attacks, it would be cool to have combat stuff like headshots that do bigger crit hits, hitting the legs with a crit can slightly slow you down, hitting crits on the arm making you swing your weapon slightly slower, even sliding under the leg to do a backstab to slow them down, this game has a lot of potential with combat, these are things I would love to see in Hytale Combat

I always felt like minecraft was a building game first and they added things like zombies and potions later. Were as hytale is a real game with similar building mechanics

So basically, the developers made a game so fun, they don't want to release it anymore and they're just playing their coop survival and showing us some little videos when they think about it 😭✋

id link to point out that green had diffrent armour, so its also possible that what your wearing effects your abilities, or enhances them.

i can’t wait to play as a desert thief and skulk around multiplayer worlds swindling and hunting people down. it will be super fun!!

Honestly I don't think the complexity in PvP is a good thing, Minecraft is a great example, speaking for like 1.8 and lower when more people played

You didn´t say that on the video, but well, well, now Hytale Model Maker has been renamed to: Asset Editor... okay.... most likely due to it serving other aspects of modification than just models alone! unless THIS tool is separate from the actual Model Maker... but I won´t hold my breath...

This game before it releases has more to it than Cyberpunk 2077 even if what CDProjektRed promised weren't lies.
