Hello! i have an Elantra 2012 ! When is is on reverse , the image is in gray and it’s bugging then it’s turning black and then the gray image comes back again . Do think that U would have to completely change it ? Or it’s another problem? And do you know how much it cost and where to buy it ? I’m from Canada !
Hi, I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra and I think the backup camera has water damage. The screen keeps flickering on and off every second. I can't find a replacement anywhere even on the Hyundai website. Do you think the water damage will fix itself in a few days? Even if I pull it out I won't be able to go right behind the camera to clean it. I can't find a replacement anywhere. I see a replacement for 2011-2013 but no 2014. Please help
I have a similar problem and as everyone would tell me, its the camera itself and i ordered on amazon, but still didnt work: then i try to get the OEM version and still doesnt work. I took it at the dealership and they still tell me its the camera, so am i suppose to keep buying camera until it works or something? 😢
Screen black or blue? Most likely going to need a new camera. There are a couple things to check. Make sure it is connected. Then check for wire damage. A common place for wire damage is the upper left side on the trunk where a wire bundle goes up and over a carpet panel. With the engine off and car on put in reverse and try playing with the wires to see if the screen flickers or does anything.
@@hyundaihowto there is nothing showing on the screen its look like not connected so i checked trunk back side all connected so i need to check the radio
Soild black screen or solid blue screen would still be the camera (95% sure) . You can try unplugging the camera in the truck and check for power at the connector.
