Figured out what to do with the dust covers. Drilled a hole in the center large enough for the ballast to fit through and then replaced the dust cover back on. Then zip tied the ballast to the back of the housing nearby since it wouldn’t fit within the housing as with other vehicles. The hole isn’t ideal, but I figured since the fans need air and blow outwards, that’d prevent largish amounts of dust from accumulating. I reckon some cover is better than none at all.

looking for help, i need a HID conversion kit. i got new HID headlights but i have stock halogen lights. the HID lights says for low beams it takes the factory lights, but for high beams its H1. What kit do I get?

Use a 3D Printed Resin Adapter and superglue it with Loctite Red Brand Superglue for high temp to the metal part which is part of the bulb and comes off the bulb. Then put the adapter in the same as the Halogen so they can be interchangeable. Then slide the LED bulb into the slot without unscrewing anything. I will experiment with unscrewing the headlight to see if I can make the Halogen Plug removable since it is too bulky. I didn't need the canbus at all for low or high headlights. Only for turn signals or turn signals will fast flicker which is a feature the car does to indicate a turn signal bulb is out. My headlights don't flicker at all on my 2013 Genesis Coupe.

@@tropicalstorm339 who cares dude. We’re all modifying our cars past EPA standards so what’s the fuss of changing 2 bulbs. As long as they are not blue or red you should be fine from getting pulled over.
